Italian producer Ruben Mandolini lands on Great Stuff Recordings with a tasty 3-tracker, after having made appearances on Toolroom Trax, Riva Starr&#8217;s Snatch! Records and Mario Piu&#8217;s Fahrenheit Recordings. Channelling his country&#8217;s techno heritage, he&#8217;s come up with an excellent little collection.

Freaky Deaky is drenched in droning, atonal bass and super-snappy beats, moodily stomping its way through trippy vocal snippets and mind-bending FX on its way to a huge breakdown and drop combo. Carefully examine the layers of murkiness and you&#8217;ll find some low end funk there too.

Inside Me takes that tinge of funk and pushes into the track&#8217;s rhythm, discordant synth and percussive sounds punctuating the groove in infectious fashion as some seriously low slung bass throbs away. Super-sized breakdowns provide respite and contrast and help to complete a succinct but highly effective DJ weapon.

Orange County rounds off with more urgency and heavy beats, pounding the listener into submission with its punchy swagger. Clever little fills and phat drum programming sass things up, and the result is pure dancefloor gold with a brilliantly swung groove.

After the huge success of last years release “It Began In Africa Vol.1” and the hit single “Bolingo Gringo” (Beatport Top 10 for 7 weeks), Juliet Sikora and Tube & Berger decided to produce the It Began in Africa Vol.2. A lot of hard work has been put into making the latest volume of the compilation.
In cooperation with The African Children‘s Choir™, 26 artists, Turntablerocker, Lützenkirchen, Dapayk, Delicious, Chris Lattner, Pirupa & Pigi, Aki Bergen aka Neuroxyde, Doomwork, Daniel Steinberg, Oliver Klein, Tube & Berger, Juliet Sikora, Gorge, Ante Perry & Kolombo, Larse, &ME, Basti Grub, Sarp Yilmaz, Nicolas Stefan, Wollion & Harada, Ismael Rivas, MSMS & SKAI, Heartik; Andhim, Krizz Luco, Rauschhaus, La Rez & Mick Zakon and Nicolas Stefan made their own interpretations of the original songs for the “IT BEGAN IN AFRICA VOL.2” charity compilation.
All profits made from the sale of this compilation will be donated to the choir and their further projects; i.e. building schemes, the founding of nurseries, and schools to help children get away from a life on the streets.
“With this project we sincerely hope to be able to support the children of Africa and empower them so that one day they will be able to help themselves”.

The Mambo Brothers return to the musical pages of Toolroom with a sun-drenched follow up to their debut release 'Momento', that landed back in 2016. This new offering is titled 'Sundogs' and you can rest assured that clubbers, radio jocks and industry folk alike will all be appreciating this gem.

Happy to announce that Nico Morano is back on Atmosphere Records for another melodic techno EP. After releases on labels like Click Records, Ein2, Karera, … he came back to the label where it all started for him and recently he even started working with us as A&R. So you can expect from here on a nice selection of Nico’s taste in contemporary dance music on Atmosphere Records. 

Throughout the years the sound of Nico Morano has developed into one of the most sophisticated ones in Belgium. His blend of deep, melodic House with a strong emotional touch has been picked up by many others. The Galeras EP translates this trademark style in two emotional, yet dancefloor oriented tracks, a perfect dj tool for the upcoming festival season. 

Galeras, isn’t only a fire bursting mountain in Colombia, it is the title of Nico’s latest EP. Consider the start like magma inside of a volcano, impatiently willing to erupt! This is how the track evolves exactly. Fire from the start with melodic techno rhythm, going steadily towards the break. No mercy there with just pure fire on the drop. Followed by some new melodic elements to make the track solid like a rock! 

Arenal embodies the raw power of one of the most famous volcanoes in Costa Rica,  ready to burst. Starting steadily with a powerful bassline & a mesmerizing arp, the track builds up the tension with a powerful lead, until the break makes the total track erupt completely!

Kenny Hawkes was one of the pioneering artists in British dance music. Influenced by the sounds of Hip Hop, Ska, Motown and Dub Reggae as he grew up, he became manager of legendary pirate radio station Girls FM in the 90’s, where he became close friends with Classic boss Luke Solomon. The pair went on to run the longest running mid-week house night in London, Space at Bar Rumba. Sadly Kenny died on 10th June 2011, and Luke has spent a number of years helping his daughter Inez gather all of her Dad’s assets, and with her approval, Classic are releasing this single as a tribute to the legendary Dark Knight of House Music. Featuring the smooth vocals of South African artist Louise Carver, this package contains the original record in all its glory, alongside special remixes from Dario D’Attis and Till von Sein.

Christian and Alan Anadon, better known as Mambo Brothers, have been born and raised in Ibiza whilst listening to the best DJs at the Café Mambo DJ booth since an early age. Having  been part of the evolution of electronic music since the beginning,  they have gained knowledge of electronic music from all the house genres. 

Their music style has been heavily influenced by DJs such as Roger Sanchez, Pete Tong, Masters at Work, Jason Bye and more recently Jamie Jones, Kölsch, Luciano and MK, which makes them bring out a broad mixture of vocally tech house with a touch of trendy house tracks from Ibiza throughout the times. Their skill to read the dance floor has given them the ability to adapt to any kind of party and atmosphere.

One half of the Mambo Brothers, Christian, has been introduced to decks at Mambo’s sister bar Savannah, where  he held a residency for many years. He watched legends such as Roger Sanchez and Carl Cox take over the decks as well as warmed up for them on a daily basis. Soon after, in the early 2000’s, Alan joined his older brother to form a brother duo, who often played at local Ibiza nightclubs such as Privilege and Amnesia. 
However, it was not until last year that Mambo Brothers decided to step outside Ibiza and start DJing internationally for “Mambo On Tour” events in cities like London, Miami, Copenhagen, Lugano and Barcelona to name a few. This summer they have played alongside names such as Groove Armada in Pacha Ibiza, 2ManyDJs in Privilege and have done a special deep house set alongside Avicii in Ushuaia. 

Originally raised in the white isle, they have never lost their Scottish accent nor Scottish stamina to party, because they have obviously been hanging out with the wrong people for far too long!!
