Afrobeat & Caribe 
This is the title of the proposal that encompases the force, energy and the spirit of this  project, where the traditional rhythms of the Caribbean get into a dialogue with the music of western Africa.  
This proposal has as a principal axis the fusion between the traditional chants and rhythms of the region of the Canal del Dique, in the colombian Caribbean, and the aesthetic and format of Afrobeat; a genre created in late 60s by the nigerian multi instrumentalist Fela Kuti, who combines the Yoruba music of Nigeria, Jazz, Highlife and Funk with the traditional chants and rhythms of western Africa.
