Behind redundant canine teeth,

Behind the squalor of,
Molars,
Collar,
Larynx,
And tongue,
There lies a net,
Of weaved resentment and regret,
Of opportunity rebuked.
Of cynicism,
Forcing a,
Schism,
Of belly and heart.
And through this drain, of clogged up innocence and pain,
There, squeezes every single word,
There, squeezes:
"Never, never, never, never, again"
And every word, erupts distorted and absurd,
With that distinctive stagnant smell,
Of lying.


Blowing off the dust,
Of an undomesticated lust,
I hear the roar of unfulfilments engine.
As familiar
As a lover's behind.
Beyond the breach,
Behind the rows of crooked teeth,
There is a pilot light,
Like Lucifer.
Still burning;
Brow discerning,
But eager.
Despite the glib trajectory,
Of this forsaken industry,
I'm wading through the corpses
Just to try and climb aboard,
A ship that I've already left.

En “Killer Smile”, Stefanie Neal afila la palabra hasta convertirla en bisturí. Sobre un armazón de electro de pulso seco y tensión ascendente, su flujo entre spoken word y rap narra la historia de Jess: una atracción que empieza con brillo y termina torciendo la intuición, en un mundo donde la fachada vale más que la sustancia. La versión Extended permite que el drama respire: percusiones que insisten, sintetizadores que sudan en capas y un diseño sonoro que aprieta tornillos sin perder claridad de mezcla. Pieza final de su serie de ocho cortes sobre el impacto de la tecnología en la psique y la sociedad, es también su disparo más certero: un club track que mira de frente la manipulación emocional y el loop dopamínico de la era de los algoritmos.
La identidad multidisciplinar de Neal —artista que cruza sonido, relato y comentario social, con obra audiovisual premiada— se siente en cada detalle: la métrica como montaje, la voz como primer plano, el beat como respiración. Sin postureo retro ni efectismo fácil, “Killer Smile” apuesta por una estética funcional y feroz que sitúa el cuerpo en la pista y la mente en alerta.
