Some to precisely convey
Others to erase

Iambic pentameter
Free verse free of rhyme
Verses to reveal the truth 
Others to waste time

Verses setting premises 
Others to ignore
Some that make the final cut 
Others on the floor

Finally a closing thought
Wrapping up the song
nothing here for you to see
Time to move along

Autotelic Blue was improvised in a trance-like state of mind (state of intense focus on a task thought to be just within reach) in which no notion of 'self' or of 'I' or ego is possible. There are many wonderful improvisational artists here present, who will know what I mean.
