This melody is so innocent. It is truly a genius of Silvestri's music how well does it match the character of Forrest Gump. It was always one of my favorites! It was a wonderful experience to figure out how to put it into the solo piano type of track...

I began composing music after reading 'Anti-Oedipus' by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari. I do not claim to know whether the book 'caused' the music. And if it did, I do not claim to know why. All I claim to know, is that I was there when it happened. Whether I (or the book) had anything to do with it, is anyone's guess.
