We welcome Israeli producer Niv Ast to the Play Pal Series and also to the label as he'll be on board in one of the following Ep's.

After playing at Tel Aviv main clubs for over six years, he's also now focused on his own productions and a new live act which includes distortion guitars, ecstatic percussions and hypnotizing vocals, that he's presented at 'Calvi On The Rocks' Festival, 'The Waiting Room' and 'The Block'.

With music released and forthcoming on labels such as Ombra, Correspondant, Relish, Calypso and Snap Crackle & Pop to mention just a few, he's become one of the producers most in demand nowadays.

He's also started the label 'New Day Everyday', which as he describes it, it's a small-friendly-boutique label set up by him, Eliezer and Daniel Weil.

Stockholm Syndrome are a DJ/producer duo based in Melbourne made up of Scottish born Iain Mac and Australian Brett Wilson. The unlikely duo, recognising their similar tastes came together to form Stockholm Syndrome in late 2013 after DJing at the same party. Their style varies widely and unapologetically, it can’t be neatly wrapped up into a single genre. They’re drawn to dark, moody, sub 120bpm techno, the energetic, raw and powerful Mex-tech, the Slo-Mo and the Balearic, Drug Chug and the strange.

Novelcast 39: Stockholm Syndrome

Music has the power to heal and ease our minds during times of trouble and it is in that spirit that we welcome Colossio to the Play Pal Series, an artist we've been following for quite some time and whose sound fits perfect with what we like and release.

He's played at the main clubs in Mexico, regular guest at Topaz Club in Monterrey and have done recently his first tour through Europe. Although he's into a wide range of music, his sound, even at lower bpm than on his usual sets, is definitively club oriented with a driving energy that keeps pushing.

With music out on labels such as Ombra International, Calypso, La Dame Noir, Relish or Duro among many others, and new Ep's coming up on Beat Is Murder and Á Table, he's become one of the most prolific artists of last years and definitively one to watch.

Theus Mago is the alter ego of Mexican producer Mateo González, responsible for dance music projects such as Bufi (Kitsuné/Discotexas), Sonido Fantasma (Turbo Recordings) and currently co-head of label Duro. 

Theus Mago is a new side of Mateo obscure experimental rhythmsmeet the rigourness of the party dancefloor. 

In 2015, Theus Mago released “Ritmo Extraterrestre” through the french/german label Correspondant, earning quick support from the likes of Solomun, Dixon, Âme and Haai, kicking off aconstantly busy world touring schedule. 

Mateo’s alter ego has lately been on a steady streak of solid releases, including labels around the globe such as Lumiere Noire, Turbo Recordings, Optimo, Ombra Intl, Duro, Feines Tier, Playground Records, Correspondant and Pets Recordings, among many others.
