For the 47th edition of the Global Mix Series we welcome the versatile German DJ and producer Narciss, as he delivers an hour of acid, trance influenced rapid techno, expertly mixed to soundtrack your Thursday afternoon. 

Despite naming himself after a mythical egomaniac, Narciss’ approach to techno is very far from self-centered, with his inspirations spanning from Samurai Movies of the 1950's across Hip-Hop from the 80's, to white-labelled tool-techno records and Anime from the 90's.

Undeterred by the tonal difference in these influences, though the glue holding all of them together is an earnest sense of emotion and Narciss’ audible wish to make a crowd move as ecstatically as possible.

With a string of huge releases with Lobster Theremin and 1ØPILLS, plus numerous edits and remixes, Narciss is a producer who certainly doesn't lack an arsenal of back catalogues bangers.

He has packed this mix from start to finish, with a vast selection of dance tracks, ranging from breaks and melodic sounds, to fast paced and jacking techno, culminating in an effortless and smooth mix which thoroughly enjoyed from the get go.
