People of Eternity is a music compilation curated by Gavilán Rayna Russom and Sanna Almajedi which will be out on all platforms on April 10. It is the first volume of #BDS Mixtape–a series of music compilations initiated by Adalah-NY that features musicians who support the Palestinian call for the cultural boycott of Israel.

On Palestinian producer Dakn's (@dakn-1)track, there are sonic references to realities of life under siege and occupation – the regular intervals of shudders of gunfire punctuating the music, along with the rumbling of embattled voices shouting.

People of Eternity is dedicated to the late musician jaimie branch who was a supporter of the Palestinian cause and is featured on this album together with Jason Nazary with their duo Anteloper. Kaye Cain-Nielsen, the editor-in-chief of e-flux journal wrote the liner notes and Selwa Abd (aka Bergsonist) designed the artwork. The album circulates around the concept of radicality: a radical sound meets a radical cause.

Fête Accomplie is immensely proud to have Palestinian artist SHBASH on board. The Jordan based rapper and producer has carved out a unique space in the music scene with his melancholic yet hard-hitting beats nad thought-provoking lyrics. As a committed night crawler of the city of Amman, SHBASH aims to forge connection between image and sound.

The show that he recorded in Amman is composed as a mixtape, and contained instrumentals of his tracks, unreleased productions and also, tracks from the Palestinian and Jordan underground scene.

Mancunian and Palestinian artists unite for a truly collaborative EP with the aim of raising awareness of solidarity with the Palestinian people. 

¿Lesh La2? is a 5-track EP consisting of collaborative tracks from four innovative producers/artists from Manchester and Palestine, in partnership with Bethelhem-based radio station Radio Alhara and made possible by music development organisation Brighter Sound in Manchester. 

The EP aims to spark conversations about the role of cultural collaboration in global solidarity movements, and sees artists exchange ideas and stems to create five completely original works.  

The set begins with Wlknokia’s dark soundscapes, searing low-end and brooding calls to action from yeguachita on “Arenas”. Up next we follow the everyday life and tales of resistance from RUUQ on the title track “¿Lesh La2?”  (translating to “why not?”) over a shimmering, glowing Scytale production. Uptempo yet conscientious bubbling cut “Disbelief” featuring the Manchester pair (Scytale & yeguachita) in combination marks the halfway point as “Fatra” brings Scytale and RUUQ together once more for a laid back yet poignant head-nodder complete with a guitar solo. Final cut “KUNTUR” reunites yeguachita with WlkNokia who provides a sinister ‘LoveMusic’ beat for a tale of indigenous solidarity from Abya Yala to Palestine.
