Spell Cast

First up for our MixX and Podcast series is @Tadan127 who is based in London but originally comes from the mystical Shaman town of Kuršėnai. Not only an outstanding producer and the creator of MANA001 but also a class A digger and DJ + head honcho of @area127, a place focused on artist collabos and rough live takes while catching the flow, the moment. We discovered Tadan due to the release of his extraordinary album "Neoshamanism" on @electric_shapes. Play out loud and indulge in the dance of the pucks.

Spell Cast 001 - Tadan

Second in our series we have @ensuree on board of our flying cauldron. The Copenhagen based newcomer became one of our favorite selectors when it's about slow to mid tempo Trance experiences and such a talented DJ and musician, the name speaks for itself. This is by far the quickest mix she ever recorded. Coming from a classical music background in form of flute studies and singing, music was always an important part of her life. Over Deep Techno like Dozzy, northern electronics and Postpunk she made her way to digging in the crates for old Goa records and slowing them down like Grand Mage Professor Vladimir revealed to us. Besides her creative expression she studied biochemistry, ergo modern witchcraft. You'll hear more from her in the near future, we ensure you.

Hello deer creepy new world. We think there is nothing more reliable and mythical than a true wanderer story. London dungeons finest four have set together for the approval of this one. We believe in the Goblins strength and Boss Gobbo @wes-baggaley is lurking in the shadows for a long long time has prepared this swampy pleasure of a mixX for us.

Spell Cast 003 - Wes Baggeley

Hailing from Minsk, Belarus, @Viikatory is a DJ and Producer generally specialized in fast-paced Electro but she has surprised us with some magical Goa Trance demos. So does the mix she has prepared for us.
Active as Producer and DJ since 2019 Viikatory has absorbed production techniques at a fierce pace, classical training from a young age adds a harmonic side to her gritty and high-momentum tracks. Her tracks have featured on compilations from labels such as Warning, Lap Records and Crazed Behaviors. Also, not so long ago, her solo tape release “Maiden Voyage” and high speed collaboration with Jensen Interceptor “I Just Want 2 Dance” was out on International Chrome. Future vinyl releases include Mutual Pleasure, Juice Gang records and surprise surprise Mana Abundance.

Spell Cast 004 - Viikatory

Okouru is a Parisian music selector, based in Copenhagen nowadays. Usually he plays a wide range of sounds from Trance, Psy-Trance, Techno, Progressive House and anything in between. You can find him play at local venues such as Ved Siden Af, Jolene and Hangaren. He recently made his Berlin debut at ://about.blank for Zement Techno and also played for our beloved @warningberlin at Camp Warning. He recorded that excellent Trance mix for your and our listening pleasure.

Spell Cast 005 - Okouru

Galatheia, or Tèa Shaldeva, is a versatile artist and DJ from Skopje, North Macedonia you should put an eye on. Music has been the only constant passion that has guided her to be a vocalist in a few bands, a regular radio show host and a producer of her own music. Her intimate affair with electronic music started around 2010 and was set on stage two years afterwards, when she released her first EP, ‘All We Ever Wanted Was Everything’. She runs a regular show on Amok Radio and worked as promoter / curator for Skopje’s ‘Kanal 103’ and played along with the likes of for example Psychic TV. Her mix is an alchemical travel containing fine selected musical elements alongside own(re)works.

Nera’s unrivalled passion for electronic music with its underlying history and subcultures translate seemingly into her well-balanced selections of psychedelic rhythms and hidden trance gems with perfectly timed trips into the depths of layered emotive basslines. By merging the light and the dark while juxtaposing the old and the new, Nera’s sets become an evolving wave of energy, gradually raising the spirit on the dancefloor toward a transcendental sense of movement. Colourful and mindful - one foot on earth, one in outer space - creating a collective brainwave with ego-fading sound transmissions.

https://soundcloud.com/desir-e-falessi - Desirée Falessi out of Buenos Aires is hard to label and an artist who is not afraid of change or adopting stereotypes creating a high-energy environment where she cannot be pigeonholed into a single genre. Spending most of her income for records, what isn't an easy thing in other parts of the world, she is inspired by the retroesque side of Dance Music merging Techno, House, Trance and Electro into one fluid soundscape. Also as a producer or promoter with her own Buenos Aires based party Strain, you should have a look on her.

@ABS8LUTE is a French music activist and passionate digger. As a
trance lover - Goa, Deep Trance, Neo-Trance - she enjoys taking
her public on cosmic trips with dance and rave flavors. Outside
of the DJ booth, she works for a better representation of women
and POC in the industry by writing for music medias like
Mixmag France, by animating talks and debates on inclusion for
the Paris Electronic Week, and by creating the Vénus Club, a
collective of women DJs that recently took the French electronic
scene by surprise. Her unique take on rhythm led her to be on
the same line up as Anetha, Jensen Interceptor, Kasper Marrot,
Under Black Helmet and Mary Lake, now she recorded an outstanding mix for us you can listen above! Mana Full Force!

Hypnotic structures creating an immersive tension along the way, evolving into industrial and deserted techno-rollers. Dive in. Dive deep.

@trancesettersofwestphalia deliver this trip of a mix - freshly cooked on the wheels of steel for your favorite fiery cabin dance floor or listening adventure, alternatively performed at beaches or in deep forests. A hypnotic ride through history of mind bending music. The two Westphalen residents convinced recently with an outstanding debut release on Junction Forest, home of the shrooms and an extraordinary live set performed at Warning Berlin for example. Besides that they also contributed to our first compilation and will do so as well for the upcoming second one. Stay tuned and keep an eye on those two rogues ;) 100% WAX.
