Next up in our mix series is fleika - hailing from Prague. fleika grew up during the heyday of Prague’s rave culture, coming of age as a DJ in booths built for a single night only. The Czech techno renaissance formed him, then the newly-born club culture embraced him as one of its main protagonists. The Ankali resident digs anything that kicks, melts or makes one’s mind trip, but mainly thrives on diving into the vast depths of hypnotic and psychedelic techno – as deep as it gets.

This mix is a recording from fleika’s closing set from his ‘Archiv Technologi’ night at Ankali after DJ Nobu, a couple of weeks ago. With a steady hand, he guides the night to a beautiful end, drifting through airy textures and weightless atmospheres. As dawn approaches and the first light seeps in, his soundscape gently carries dancers back to reality—sofly touching down at planet earth again.

Recorded during the early hours of Sunday morning at Garage Noord at the Omen Wapta Weekender, this live set from Formant Value captures the essence of a weekend that transcended the club experience—where sound, space, and shared energy merged into something truly transformative.

Opening in slow motion, the set unfolds with a deep, psychedelic ambient current—echoes, pulses, and dub textures forming a wide sonic horizon. What follows is a steady, organic rise into tribal techno rhythms and hi-tech structures, maintaining a sense of spaciousness even at its most kinetic.

It’s a set that mirrors the architecture of the night itself: meditative, then elevating, then dissolving again. There are no sharp corners—just flow. Time felt suspended. Movement turned internal. And in the foggy warmth of the dancefloor, listeners were gently guided through a collective dreamspace.

Formant Value is known for his unique & sophisticated sound, that defies easy categorisation whilst nodding in the direction of downtempo, dub and IDM, with elements of D’n’B, trance and techno. Söfia Kuz, born in Siberia, Russia, has a rich and diverse musical journey that reflects both her cultural background and evolving artistic identity. Since moving to Milan in 2018, where she currently resides, Sofia's passion for music has truly flourished. Despite growing up immersed in music—singing in choirs and classical studies—it was in Milan's vibrant scene that she found her calling in electronic music. 
Her sets are a testament to her wide-ranging musical influences and her ability to blend genres seamlessly. Grounded in techno, her music often incorporates groovy rhythms, dark and melancholic tones, and occasionally, more vibrant, industrial, and trance elements. 
Sofia's journey from classical music roots to the electronic beats of Milan's underground scene illustrates her versatility and dedication as an artist, establishing her as a rising figure in the electronic music community.

Giorgia, known as Gledis, is a young promise and up-and-coming DJ with an innate passion for music. Since she was a teenager, she has nurtured her love for music by learning to play the piano. 
Always eager to learn new things, she started studying music production, and that's when Gledis began her journey in the world of electronic music as a DJ. Started to grown her DJ figure with Bunkr collective and now is part of Die Sekte collective with a residency at their Klubnacht. 
Her performances range between purists Techno and goes to Trance when in the right situation. She is ambitious and dedicated, constantly striving to improve her skills and this is why she breaks the dancefloors with her unique sound.

Fucckkk no – Vienna-based artist Transki doesn’t bend his sound for fame and he sure as hell won’t chase algorithm-driven trends. “I can’t stand it when people try to flatten every subculture and niche into one,” he says. Staying true to his vision, Transki breaks away from the mainstream with a spiritual path mix of goa trance, progressive trance, Detroit electro-techno and ragga dancehall, all deeply rooted in raw ‘90s aesthetics.

OW12 Loek Frey - Nayan

Some things simply need time to brew. Loek Frey returns to Omen Wapta with his third release on the label: Nayan. The Amsterdam-based artist shares a long-standing friendship with label head Woody92 – keeping each other in motion as artistic peers since the label’s inception. Over time, they’ve built a shared archive of material: sound sketches, tracks, and sonic touchpoints – an ever-evolving third space where their paths continue to meet as they move in parallel. Nayan emerges from this deep-rooted exchange: a distilled six-track release that fuses Frey’s cerebral intricacy with the label’s primordial uncanniness, reaffirming both as key voices in a yet-to-be-defined sonic realm.

Diving into the release, Frey’s signature remains intact – tactile, spatial, and rhythmically precise – but a subtle shift is at play. A paring down. A move toward something more reduced, maybe even more patient, yet no less absorbing. The A side leans inward: deep pressure, spectral traces, and an undercurrent of tension that never quite resolves. It’s music for staying with, not escaping from. Flip to the B side and the palette widens – kicks land heavier, patterns loosen, textures fill the full frequency field. Still deeply rooted in the Wapta world, but with an assertiveness that whispers rather than shouts. Somewhere between absence and force.

With Nayan, Loek Frey carries his Omen Wapta narrative into new territory – merging restless experimentation with dancefloor intention.
