From sugar sweet prog to spotlighting the hardcore continuum, Boiler Room's Brisbane debut was one to remember with Neesha Alexander, Dr Dubplate b2b Y U QT, Spray and STÜM.

This mix incorporates just some (28 to be exact) of the banging tracks that were released between 2010-2013. During these years I spent a lot of time raving / dancing / partying to these tunes.

In 2011 I lived in Ibiza with my late friend Robbie, and Aaron. Robbie has been part of the motivation in creating this mix. In memory of him, I had to close this mix with “Ultra Nate - Free (Ramon Tapia & Kabale und Leibe Remix)”. Reason being, this was the closing track one night at a beach party in San Antonio, Ibiza, right near to where we lived. Robbie (plus myself and my friend Kyle) were extra buzzing over this track when it got dropped to close the set. I think the lyrics resonated with us, as we were in Ibiza doing what we wanted to do (albeit with little money). It has always reminded me of him since. The original version even got played at his funeral. Which is why I had to finish the mix with this track in memory of him. 

I also met my partner Chloe in Ibiza in 2011 too. We now have two kids! So this period of time sits fond in my memories, and music always seems to be able to bring me back to these memories. 

Hence, Nostalgia Mix.
