The dust, sand-like yet not soft at all, no, sharp. Painful even. Every step, every wind in this cold place, hurts hotter than any desert. But the reflections in the shards hide beauty, something only seen if you traverse the hurtful ambiance.

Golden blossoms show the innocence of the deep-rooted tree, the silent cries of deep emotion painting the warmth in tone but cool in its snow-like fall; the petals fleeting as tears.

[If you're well trained in the good old ears, you'll notice that this is what ends up being reversed and reworked into Waking. The concept for this felt too generic and peaceful so I wanted to take it and make something new while also playing into its generic feel and making it the false ending of the album that then goes to the Noise coming back one last time.]
