Specimen Records will kick off with “Zero Plague” in January 2024 after a long hiatus from 2022 through to 2023. Specimen is now proud to present such a prolific artist as MANASYt whose level of production has reached many labels, along with extensive DJ work throughout Europe. 

Bulgarian dark mastermind Petar Tassev Manasyt has been rocking his brand of Nuroelktro since 2003. He is responsible for a vast array of menacing titles on labels such as Touching’ Bass, Kommando 6, Musar, and the infamous Bunker, along with 40 others.


He is an artist who couldn’t care less about trends or hype, and whose main driving forces authenticate passion for this genre. Some of his tunes resemble future horror movie soundtrack, others a visit to a mental clinic, but most sound like what hostile aliens would listen to while attacking Earth.

Electro is fundamentally modern. The coldness of the machine laid bare, a human attempt to express through circuits and wiring. Despite adhering to specific codes and norms, it is a sound that refuses to be pigeonholed. It is with this in mind that Shipwrec has collected a wealth of international talent to showcase their own vision of this bracing style. Serge Geyzel incises from the needle drop, the acid blistered "Still There" is sliced and quartered by scissoring snares. Endfest changes the trajectory with the modular warmth of "La Chouffe" before the lines change and Manasyt delivers the darkened angles and punishing percussion of "Row Hammer." Andrew Red Hand maintains the shadowy synthlines of his predecessor, industrial undertones bubbling to the surface in distortion-soaked aggression. The mood shifts with Alpha Visitor. Crystalline chords are punctured by crisp drum patterns, stabbing keys and broad arcs unveil a world of sci-fi inspirations. The finale comes from Jauzas the Shining. Broad sweeps introduce "Shemale" before dripping drums are countered by samples and icy blasts. Modern machine music from six masters.

Another four sonic alchemists return to the laboratory to transcend reference and embrace collision. No maps. No preconditions. Only the raw voltage of curiosity channeled into the unknown. Building on previous two Volumes’ radical deconstructions, this third chapter dissolves sound into its elemental particles. Mutating ambient textures, fracturing rhythmic DNA and forging unstable compounds from modular chaos and digital ether. Here, experimentation isn’t method. It’s mandate.

Our beloved melody master J. Mono is going to kick off the Dalmata Daniel Extra series which is a new sub for limited audio materials. 

The series is inaugurated by two tracks on lathe cut 7" in equal measure of the bright and the dark side of J.Mono's music, life, the universe and everything.

These tracks are untitled, bearing a slightly distorted sound. The B side we arrive at a pitch black rave with heavy drums and an acid bass line sinking us deeper into the darkness of Lajosmizse.

"Reemerging from the threshold of the cosmic vortex, Black Lodge returns with another sonic artifact that is charged with vigorous chaotic energy, known as EXPERIMENT_ZERO. Accounts of the radiant object’s origin are as mysterious as the raw energy that utters from its core. Following a close study, the guardians of the portal suspect that “Experiment Zero” was a primordial experiment rooted in the slam jack pits and DIY warehouse rituals of ages passed.
