Man Behind Tree are a jangle / power pop group stationed in the concrete heart of Germany / Berlin. The four balance smokey vocal harmonies on top of fuzzed-out & overdriven pastures. In 2011 they released their first album, and Rolling Stone described their 2015 release, Snoqualmie (published by Solaris Empire / Broken Silence), as "Sunny Westcoast melancholia“.

After a few years of recording off and on with Tad Klimp of “The Notwist”, Man Behind Tree are ready to put out their new album this April. The band features members of the “Seaside Stars”, “Hanemoon”, and the late, great “Mincer Ray”.

Subjangle (Pretoria, South Africa) and Twaague (Berlin, Germany) are releasing the album on cd and tape.
