Welcome to Summer with Artichokes Are Yellow. We got a diverse selection this sampler season and we are stoked to have Jahir, Left Ear Right, and Kasto on our roster for the first time as well as welcoming back the amazing Moonlight Fiziks!

First up we have a 'hot human summer' anthem with Fantasy by Moonlight Fiziks and Kasto. It is a high-energy, heavy-hitting banger with a catchy whisper vocal and a moovin'/groovin' bassline. This track is setlist 'must-have' being as catchy and memorable as it is, it will set the dancefloor on fire!

Up next we have Jupiter by Tom Kench and Artsychoke
'Addressing all of the abortion laws being passed currently, people assigned female at birth are fearing for their health and lives. There are many reasons to not want to have a child, some health, some financial and one simply being 'I don't want to', and that is perfectly valid and okay. The song talks about all the reasons to not want to have a kid in a world that just can't take care of them. Written from the perspective of 'If Jupiter was a real person', these are the things I would fear for her life.' ~Anna

Welcoming Jahir to Artichokes Are Yellow with a Hot Cheese Summer Anthem. Be sure to slather your nachos while playing this heater of a track to keep your nachos warm while you're eating them. I don't like cold nachos, that's for sure. *Listens to the song again* 'UHHHH Yeah I would slather my nachos to this'. Jahir blessed our earholes with their bouncy growling baseline and high-energy vocal chops that keep the track moving all the way through.

Last but not least we have Sweaty People by Left Ear Right. This track gets right to the point. It is so hot you will be sweating through your clothes upon impact. This track is bound to fill up a dancefloor with its bouncy baseline and spicy ear candy that makes the song unique and fresh. The vocal is catchy in tone and texture with the instrumental of the song, it hits your ears just right.

Today is a unique day, mark it on your calendar because today is the debut of producer Kallendario. Let's set aside the jokes and turn our attention to what this producer has been doing in his studio.

For a long time, the producer has been wishing to travel to Imagine Island, and this time we decided to grant him the vacation he has been dreaming of, as long as he brings us one of his works.

That's how the EP 'Enveloping Loop' was born, containing two unique tracks unlike anything you've ever heard. Both songs have influences from Tech house with a touch of the producer's personality. Be careful not to get lost in time while listening to these songs, before you know it, you'll be listening to this EP on an eternal loop.

Mand0 is a house artist based out of Niagara Falls, Canada. His sound is a blend of bass house and horror with techno influences. He specializes in a signature sound unique from others he calls “Spooky House”. Music for your everyday horror movie fan.

Mand0 is quickly making a name for himself in the Toronto scene, finding him on lineups with San Pacho, FETISH and Pretence. Spinning at events in California, Toronto and the Niagara Region. Some venues include Nomad, Bar Cathedral, Hush Hush, Revel Revel, La Piscina, Last Call Cocktail Lounge and Geary warehouse. Known for his high energy takes on the darker sounds of house.

His production style blends horror/cinematic textures with modern sounds of dance music.
