My mom and I go back and forth about this whole thing. It's touchy and while I think everyone should wear whatever they want I can see both sides.

Governing is a lot different than campaigning. You have hard decisions to make. I don't get why she argues with her parents as Bernie supporter over Clinton and Obama. All three of them have flaws equivalent in nature in some aspects. I have a feeling she's a political purist. 

She probably got frustrated with not getting the information needed. Not that that is ok but it takes an incredible amount of patience to be able to stay calm when people like sessions and Devos are rambling and dodging the questions.
