I have always been captivated by electronic music that breaks format - be it tempo changes, key changes, etc.; unconventional approaches to familiar styles of music inspire me. I've been playing out a few tracks in my sets recently that make tempo changes, and wanted to take a stab at making something that pushed these boundaries. With "Another Level", the goal was to translate the Dr. Fresch brand into as many different genre spaces as possible in one song. I ended up taking the track from a 130 BPM House, into 130 BPM Breaks, 110 BPM Moombahton, 140 BPM Trap, and finally 176 BPM Hybrid Trap. My goal with any production is to always represent a style and vibe central to my brand, but I believe that that style is by no means confined to house music. I'm always trying to push my artist career to "Another Level".

Old project pseudonym. I was introduced into the dubstep scene in late 07, beforehand I was a massive progressive/death/thrash...etc metal fan. However, I did dive into a world of industrial noise, breakcore, glitch and Merzbow. This shifted me into a mindset I couldn't drop, I had to produce. I had to contribute to this world of pure ... noise. This is where Zerofaultmechanic was born, a break/noise hybrid, heavily influenced by the likes of Venetian Snares and Otto Von Schirach, what followed was two atrocities I called albums; Citation Needed and Volume one. CN was my first full length album with average track length of 3mins, the longest being 5mins.
Shortly after I found myself getting more and more into DnB, and this is when I dropped my pots and pans, deleted half of all my samples and said, let it be known that from this day forward I shall be known as Pushoverdrive. This however lasted for one EP with 3 tracks. I later abandoned music until I met a very good friend of mine. He too said he produced, I went back to the drawing boards and came up with a couple new DnB tracks. I later coined the tracks to M&C after looking intently at a huge bookshelf of DVDs for about 2 hours trying to Piece together a name. I just liked the ring to it.
Then when I was shown Dubstep, I knew it what I was looking for, The eery ambient energy, atmospheres that can not only be imagined but felt and experienced. After locating, acquiring and taking vast amounts of LSD for a while I finished the album Morphogenesis. Horrified at what I had created but still optimistic about the future of this stuff I continued, I began work on a couple new promo tunes, all dubstep, and thought I could persist through. So I started the album Anger At Truth Can't Last, which opens with Alzheimers. Alzheimers is significant to my progression in possibly the most crucial way, after listening through the whole of Morphogenesis non stop and then going straight to Alzheimers the change was incredible. I knew that If I went at it for long enough I could maybe accumulate enough skills to excel to another level.
After finishing Anger At Truth Can't Last and experimenting in various levels of genre mashups and technique tweaking, I was ready for my latest and biggest most detailed album yet.
Evolution.
I'm currently only have 5 definitive tracks made, I made a couple random tracks I don't think will make the cut, but all my music I make I whack up here, always available to download.
