My name is Denis, I live in Russia, in particular St. Petersburg, I am the curator and founder of the Russian label Sengiley (note from the author. hometown on the river Volga), where I release House, Broken Beat, Breaks music. 

This selection is a record from Autumn St. Petersburg, recorded partly from my vinyl collection, partly from new digital releases that I've really enjoyed lately.

I started out making sample-based hip-hop, just chopping up records and flipping them into something new. At some point, I wanted to play what I was sampling instead of just rearranging it. That led me down a path where I slowly developed my own sound. Now I make a mix of R&B and library music—atmospheric, nostalgic, but still fresh.
