SDCST 04 - Abraham SED Mixtape For Misk FM

The next release, scheduled for 1 June March 2023, is the new single Maheo of Aston Alba, swiss producer born in the heart of the Alps of Valais. 

He started producing at the age of 14 and quickly discovered his passion for organic house and techno, which he transformed into a distinctive brand in today’s musical landscape. Self-taught, Aston Alba uses a variety of Middle Eastern instruments and rhythms to create a rich and detailed sound atmosphere.

Four remixes complete this summer release cruising from Spain to Mexico & Ecuador with a stopover in the east in Georgia. A first remix will be out on 1st of May 2023. 
This forthcoming EP has been written for everyone that needs to reconnect with the nature.

Next up on Exotic Refreshment we welcome Agawe, duo of producers from Turkey. Together they produced percussive and melodic textures with their own sound designs for the gem of their two weeks seclusion in a studio in the forest. The duo presents the EP with afro house and modern melodic touches while being inspired by the balance between wilderness and serenity for their leitmotive.

'Confused Karma' turns into an indefinable wildness with the mixed of ethereal vocal, cosmic pads, tribal zippy percussions, rhythmic synth flute pattern, field recordings and lead melodies illuminating two different stories.

'Leza' elicits a dynamic flow with the native flutes, tropical creatures, orchestral instruments, swinging synth, african vocal and percussions arising from an enchanted jungle.

On remix duties we have Ian Ludvig (Go Deeva Records, MoBlack Records), Juliano Gomez (Shango Records, Lump Records, MONADA), Auggië (MoBlack Records, Connected Frontline) and T-Puse (Pipe & Pochet, Cafe De Anatolia).

Pieces Of Life was born with the purpose of publishing exclusively Yamil's music but finally and due to the fact that the label is surrounded by great artist and friends, we have decided to release a 4-track compilation called 'Masterpieces'. We'll include exclusive music by producers that we love and who are close to the label so you can expect strictly bangers by artist from all over the world. First volume will drop on January 22nd.

The track that opens the EP is the long-awaited remix of Yamil to G.Zamora's 'De Todo Se Aprende' released on the label back in October 2020. 

Adrian Roman makes his label debut with 'Lambda', an Afro house piece that brings out quality from beginning to end, nothing conventional. The melodies transport us through a journey of emotions while the voices and the beat finds the perfect harmony.

Third cut is delivered by POL's label manager, Rodrik. 'Hold Me On' is an energetic song accompanied by a catchy robotic vocal. It's a perfect track to warm up the atmosphere in any kind of mood. 

Yamil closes the EP with a strong single called 'Meru' and that he has produced several months a go in a moment of inspiration where he has developed many of the tracks that are seeing the light in these months.
