My music is based around my artist persona, the Rude Bwoy, who is a young, smooth, and charismatic Jamaican struggling with his vulnerability and tackling his audacious ambitions.

In "For Tonight", he shares a moment where he meets a woman on a night out and convinces her to be with him for just one night.

Nanny Bag, Pt.2, is the debut Reggae/Dancehall single by upcoming artiste Ma'neen and produced by J.L.L. The track tells the story of a young Jamaica rude boy who is trying to evade arrest by leveraging his relationship with the police officer's girlfriend.  This is the first track on a joint project between Ma'neen and J.L.L to be released sometime in 2020.

Born October 20, 1990, Ma'neen grew up in a time when the dancehall genre was at its boldest.  Ma'neen identifies as a 90's rude bwoy with an undeniable eloquence and charisma that hides his skewed sense of morality. As an artist, he enjoys fusing authentic sounds of reggae and dancehall with his own renditions of jazz, afro-soul, and even pop. He takes pride in experimenting with these eclectic new sounds that he aptly titles; 'Sexy Reggae'. 

He has had the pleasure of working with producer prodigy Jean-Andre Lowell Lawrence from J.L.L. Productions and is working tirelessly to create and release more content for his growing fanbase.

 

Ma'neen is a storyteller and in his music, he shares dramatic tales of his life as a self-aware Jamaican rude bwoy, narrating his relationships, and his ambitions.
