"I live in Kumamoto, Kyushu, Japan. Japan tends to focus on its capital city, Tokyo, but there is also a great music scene in Kyushu.
And in my hometown, Kumamoto, there is an alternative rock band called "YET". This mix includes a number of sound sources produced by YET's member YUE. He is a musician I respect, has a lot of musical advice, and has very interesting stories that make me smile" - Iwakiri.

Very excited to share the first mix of the year from Kyoto based Dj and producer Kiong He’s come through with an extremely well put together mix with plenty of joyous surprises and deep meditative club cuts.

After working in several lo-fi hip-hop projects and indie rock bands, Kiong began DJing clubs across Kyoto and Osaka. 

His mixes are not bound to any particular category, but cover a wide range of genres such as techno, left field, and even rock and ethnic music. His sets are always full of the unexpected, and he gives his listeners a fresh and unique experience.

Big thanks to Kiong for putting this beautiful work together.
