For this episode, we welcome DJ and producer Nicolas Vogler. His fascination for music stretches back far into his childhood. Born and raised in Londrina, southern Brazil, his musical journey first manifested itself in an admiration for punk and rock n’ roll, which inspired him in his early years to learn guitar. As a teenager, he discovered electronic music through underground parties, nurturing a passion for techno that has only grown over the years. The dirty rawness of old-school techno and the hypnotic feel of more contemporary tracks inspire him.

Today, he is a producer, gaining renown through his own personal label NCLS as well as through releases on groove-focused techno labels such as Syxt Berlin, Drawner records, Malör Records, ESP Collective, and Mutual Rythm. Played by techno DJs worldwide, Nicolas’ tracks can be found in mixes by notable artists such as Rødhåd, Ben Sims, Rene Wise, and many others.

@Cobahn is a Korean-born DJ now based in Amsterdam. She began her musical journey as part of Seoul's deep spiritual techno scene, regularly performing at Vurt and various parties in the city.

Since moving to Amsterdam, Cobahn has continued to explore and expand her musical horizons, drawing inspiration from both Eastern philosophy and the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. Her music is a fusion of deep and experimental styles, which she blends together to create an authentic and immersive soundscape.

With a focus on all kinds of deep music filled with organic, hypnotic, and avant-garde touches, Cobahn seeks to guide listeners into a meditative and ritualistic state of mind. Her unique sound has been described as a journey through the depths of the soul, where each track is a carefully crafted exploration of sound and emotion.

Severja (real name Jacopo) is an Italian-born DJ and label manager based in Berlin, with almost two decades of experience behind the decks. Known for his intricate mixing between genres, Severja has a deep understanding of how to build momentum and keep the energy high on the dance floor. Severja's DJ sets are genre defying, spanning from ambient to deep techno, drum and bass, and more. With a particular love for IDM music, he brings a unique style and creativity to everything he does, making him a true artist and a force to be reckoned with in the world of electronic music. In addition to founding Midgar, a Berlin-based record label that curates a wide range of sounds, Severja is also part of Monument, a Norwegian music platform and festival organizers crew. Mode_1 is a techno producer and DJ and a resident for one of the most consistent collectives in Dublin, Subject. He produces clean and powerful peak time techno and his DJ sets would be best described as fast and trippy with a groove. As a Subject resident, he plays regularly at two of the city’s best venues, District 8 and Index as well as festivals such as Life Festival, Electric Picnic and Boxed Off.

Mode_1 started releasing music in 2018with his track “Oíche” featured on Berghain resident Fiedel’s Double Mixpack EP, Appendix.2019was an exciting year for the artist with the release of his debut E.P “Final Approach” on French label Knotweed Records and later featured his track “Return” on Fiedel’s new label Super Sound Tool.2020 sawMode_1 back on Knotweed with his EP “Mainframe” and on Fiedel’s label Fiedel Two with the ‘’4x4 Series Pt1’’ EP as well asa release on the legendary label, Naked Lunch Records with his EP ‘’Pusher’’.

The artist has released music on labels such as Insolate & Volster’s imprint, Out of PlaceRecords, Spanish label, Prophecy and Irish labels CircuitStructureRecords and Research Label. 
Mode_1 has also released 3 independent EPs as part of the M1M series and has had the honor of doing remixes for artists such asTruncate , Vinicius Honorio, and Jay Clarke.

The artist has since released his 3rd and 4th consecutive EPs,“Movements”and“Reactor”on KnotweedRecords
