WOOD is here with their 21st release. They welcome London-based MockBeat who delivers "Abducted" and "Magnolia" - two original tracks deeply characterised by a smooth melodic touch, atmospheres, catchy grooves and true emotion.
On top both of the tracks got a remix treatment. Already well recognised name on the scene - Rauschhaus delivers beautiful remix of “Abducted” which in one hand maintains the sounds of the original track while giving it a sophisticated and passionate deep melodic touch. 2019 gets off to a massive start at Manual Music, as the Dutch label welcomes back Rauschhaus to the label after his earlier shared EP with PHCK- and his remix for label head Paul Hazendonk which were both released in 2017.

The German producer doesn't fly solo this time, as he has teamed up with talented Ecuadorian producer V-Cious who you might know from his earlier releases on labels such as Parquet Recordings and KDB.

And that's not all, because on the EP's title track 'Boy' the duo worked with Australian vocalist Haptic who's discography is quite an impressive one, as he has collaborated with artists such as Several Definitions, Riesen, Third Son, Simon Doty, Daryn Vlys, AFFKT, Audio Junkies, Marc DePulse and many others!

The beautiful, moody and mysterious 'Boy' comes in the original mix and a remix by Germany's rising star Renga Weh (3000 Grad Records / Lauter Unfug), whilst the more than worthy "b-side" track titled 'People Under The Stars' gets remixed by Argentinian progressive house maestro Antrim.

All in all it's clear that Manual Music continues the new year where they've ended the previous one; pushing quality underground electronic music, as they have done so since 2005.

Christian Witt and the Get Physical regular, Takis team up to create a joint project titled Boot Slap. They've thrown us a couple tracks and we felt we needed to share them. So here's MGL003 - Boot Slap - Dancing Shadows, enjoy! 'Show Patience' opens the EP with a body shaking beat, bass drums with heavy groove generate a sweaty vibe. The percussion track continues to build as Boot Slap introduces Takis' vocal sample before dropping the bass bomb. This peak-time-tempo-setter opens up and doesn't let go, a must for all deep sets.This brings us to our title track, with a bit more House influence than the previous, lending at hand to brighter percussion and thicker, more aggressive bass lines. The track builds on tension and creates a kind of pressure before bringing in the chords to melt everything together and become a true gem. We are very excited about this one, and very happy to hear from Takis once more.
