Produced and recorded during the cold winter months at the beginning of 2021, the three tracks featured on this EP reflect the good times shared with friends in the studio throughout this period. Expect chuggy weirdness from the highest caliber.

Class of Taxonomy is the second EP by Italian dj/producer and tireless music digger A-Tweed, a new concept odd work dedicated to extinct animals and human self-destructive behaviours.
Including remixes by Dengue Dengue Dengue and Ground this release  marked by dark and trippy acid vibes with afrofuturism, cosmic disco, global bass, tropical house, psychedelic tribalism, weird downbeats and 360° worldwide sample digging.
Each track of the EP is inspired by three different extinct animals.
Opening track "Plesiosaurus Social Security" with its no sense title and its uneasy dark and lo-fi vibes reflect A-Tweed's passion for Scottish Highlands foggy landscapes and tribalism.
Could that Plesiosaurus be "Nessie" from Loch Ness? Maybe.

Amsterdam’s Sinchi Music returns with its 10th release, this time from German duo Le Jeune Flück and featuring remixes from Moscoman, Theus Mago and themselves.
Sinchi Music launched their label back in early 2019 off the back of their popular blog, events and DJ sets. The imprint’s mission has been to release quality left of centre electronic music, with all funds going to a non-profit foundation to support indigenous peoples’ right and preservation of culture. To date the label has seen music from
the likes of Sascha Funke, Khidja, Man Power, Curses, Tolouse, Low Trax and many more and has gained a solid following, whilst doing some genuine good for the world.
Frankfurt based pair Le Jeune Flück are the latest to join the ranks of Sinchi’s artists. The duo have been collaborating together since 2013 and have recent release on Dionysian Mysteries and clipp.art. Here they offer up the superb ‘Unexpected Ends’, a rolling arpeggiated affair that comes on like the love child of Giorgio Moroder and Underworld. Incandescent synths and ethereal drifting melodies provide the perfect soundbed for the distinct half sung / half spoken vocals creating a track that is hard not to love.
The first of the remixes comes from Israeli producer, Disco Halal label boss and general don, Moscoman. His remix journeys into glitchier electro territory with a real sense of wonkiness and some seriously driving percussion. Next up, Sinchi deliver their own mix that taps into the otherworldly with its cavernous FX, and off kilter electronic vibe. Finally Mexican artist and Duro co-founder Theus Mago takes things into a chuggier realm with a cosmic mid-tempo workout that is divine, a perfect closer to an outstanding package.

So non-trivial synthesis, new media and club vibes meet classic arts and Russian percussion! The Apollonius EP contains three original tracks plus remixes by the likes of Roe Deers and @shmlss making this record just a perfect club music ride. Welcome to 2021: Darkroom Dubs crack open their 18th year with a
warm welcome to two new members to the roster... Santiago producer Alejandro Paz and Berlin duo Local Suicide with ‘Directions’, complete with remixes from Undo, DJs Pareja and Velax. 

Cold, cutting edge and boasting a full-spectrum of sounds, there’s a slight irony to dropping a release called ‘Directions’ when none of us know where the hell we’re going right now. But we sure as hell know what we’re listening to. And boy do we love it.

As proved on previous collaborations between the two acts on labels
such as Nein and Aeon, Alejandro’s weighty production dynamics and
Local Suicide’s purring noir soul complement each other to the very last transient. Part new romantic, part techno, all dancefloor; each track is a story just as much as it’s a song. ‘Directions’ captures the frustrations and intensity of isolated life in the 21st century and ‘Splish Splash’ takes a provocative, playful stance with its acid house bass plunges and cosmic squiggles.

It’s loaded with a full range of heavyweight remixes from a rollcall of
exceptional talent: Undo gets a slinky bass guitar in the mix, DJs Pareja get wonky and bumpy while Velax fuses more grit and intensity in his special Isolated remix. The world may continue to spin backwards but we know where we’re heading... And it’s artists like Alejandro Paz and Local Suicide who are helping us get there. Take care of each other.
