మరి మనం రోజూ తలచుకునే బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసి ఎవరో? దాని కధ ఏంటో తెలుసుకుందామా? చదవండి మరి... 
పూర్వం, అంటే కొన్ని లక్షల సంవత్సరాల క్రితం, విప్రుడు అనే పేద బ్రాహ్మణుడు, ఆ వెంకటేశ్వర స్వామిని దర్శించుకుందాం అని, తిరుమల బయలుదేరాడు ... కాలి నడకన అడవుల వెంబట  నడుచుకుంటూ వెళుతున్నాడు... అలసిపోయి, నడుం వాలుద్దాం అని ఓ మఱ్ఱి చెట్టు కింద పడుకున్నాడు ... కాసేపటికి పెద్ద అరుపులు ... ఎంతో భీకరంగా ఉన్నాయి ... అదిరిపడి  కళ్ళు తెరిచి చూసాడు విప్రుడు ... మఱ్ఱి చెట్టు మీద భయంకరంగా అరుస్తోంది బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసి... అంతే...  భయపడి పరుగులు తీసాడు విప్రుడు ... బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసి విప్రుడి వెనక పడింది ... చివరికి విప్రుడిని పట్టుకుని, "నేను నిన్ను ఏమీ చెయ్యను ... నీలో మంచితనంతో నిండిన శక్తి నాకు కనిపించింది ... నువ్వైతేనే నాకు శాప విమోచనం కలిగించగలవు", అంది బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసి... 
'అంటే ... నువ్వు నిజంగా బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసివి కావన్నమాట ... మరెందుకిలా  మారావు?" అని అడిగాడు విప్రుడు... 

"పోయిన  జన్మలో నేను విష్ణు మూర్తి ఆలయ పూజారిని ... అవ్వడానికి బ్రాహ్మణుడినే అయినా, నేను చెయ్యని తప్పు లేదు, ఆడని అబద్ధం లేదు. గుళ్ళో దేవుడి సొమ్ము నా కోసం వాడుకోవడం దగ్గరినుంచీ, బ్రాహ్మణుడు పాటించవలసిన ఒక్క నియమం కూడా పాటించకపోవడం, చివరికి వేశ్యల దగ్గరకు వెళ్ళటం వరకూ, అన్నీ చేసాను... వయస్సు ఉన్నంతకాలం తెలియలేదు. కాని చివరి రోజుల్లో, నా డబ్బు - వయస్సు హరించుకుపోయినప్పుడు, నా చావు నన్ను చావమని అందరూ వదిలేసారు. నా డబ్బు తిన్నవాళ్ళు కూడా పట్టించుకోలేదు ... చచ్చిన తరువాత నా ఆత్మ నరకానికి పోయింది ... యమధర్మ రాజు శాపం వల్ల, ఇదిగో ఇలా బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసి గా పుట్టి అందరినీ పీక్కుతింటూ ఉన్నాను ... నిన్ను చుసిన తరువాత, నిన్ను బాధ పెడదాం అనుకున్నా ఏమీ చెయ్యలేకపోయిన తరువాత, నువ్వే నాకు శాప విమోచనం చెయ్యగలవు అని నాకు అనిపిస్తోంది", అంది బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసి... 

విప్రుడు జాలిగా దాని తలపై చెయ్యి పెట్టగానే, శాప విమోచనం పొందింది బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసి... 

అంటే బ్రహ్మ  రాక్షసి మనిషిగా మారిపోయిందా? తరువాత ఏమయ్యాడు ఆ మనిషి? తిరిగి పూజారి అయిపోయాడా? సమాధానం విప్రుడే చెప్పాలి ... కాని, ఈ కధ వల్ల మనకో విషయం అర్ధం అయ్యింది ... యుగం  ఏదైనా,పరిస్థితులు  ఏవైనా, మన చెడే రాక్షసి, మన మంచే మనకు శ్రీరామ రక్ష.
