En Stille Sviner (uden citater)

Commemorating Adam 'MCA' Yauch. Friday 4th 2012 Mangroova bas player & drummer met up with our former organist and recorded this track. It's based on a jam 3 years earlier which was captured on a mobile and saved as "Beastie Groove".

Gone Grooving (live studio recording & mix)

We recently met up with two former Mangroova band members for a reunion weekend on Svinoe, Zealand. This piece is a live recording of a jam that came around in the early hours of the morning as the temperature dropped and freezing fog settled on the surrounding countryside.

The title means "Freezing Fog and Morning Bread" in Danish, but we're open for other suggestions, seeing that we'll most likely continue working on this one. We'll upload it on www.facebook.com/Mangroova then please feel free to drop suggestions for a title, genre and tags that describes the song in the comment box.

Laid back music for the lazy sultry days of summer and sizzling subtropical nights.

Mangroova blends electronic soundscapes with groovy jazz guitar and afro beat licks bobbing along on bass and drum lines which draw on latin music with elements of Soukous, High Life and Bikutsi from the African continent.

Live Mangroova delivers its music with contagious joy; sporadic and enthusiastic yelling plus catchy easy sing-along choruses. The band is former house orchestra in Radio Jazz and has also been know for their music attacks where they pop up 6 to 10 men strong announced on street corners, in parks and playgrounds giving random passersby an unexpected musical experience before they continuing on their way with smile on their lips humming along on songs like "Hva' Så, Hva' Så?'", “En Solskinseftermiddage i København”, Hundredkronsedler" and "En Stille Sviner".
