His project is based on Ambient Music with many influences coming from IDM and experimental roots. The concept of s c i a r a d a is the result of a cinematic studio of the sound made to create emotional backgrounds and recurring melodies.

It was 1981 when Moana Pozzi began her career in Cinema and was in some ways the icon that characterized in those years not only eros and the Italian imaginary, but also Disco Music, which in its sounds also took up the sounds of Italian erotic movies. It was the Era of soundtracks in Italy. So do I would like to recall my musical journey that  was last touched on Nu Disco and Italo only recently and I must admit that exploration is still ongoing since it does exist thousand of material on unreleased and rare b-sides starting from a sound that since 1981 has undergone many influences, has become Dance, has become Pop, but has often been preserved in the artists who most characterized it in those years.The evolution of Disco in those years created sacred and untouchable monsters in House music, anticipating Techno Music and with this set I celebrate all the sounds that can be compared to Disco and that influence it, change it while leaving its DNA still unchanged.

Originating from the Hessian fairytale forests of the Brothers Grimm, maniac&me was significantly shaped by the big bang of e-sound in the early 90ies: In the epi center Frankfurt a.M., he experienced a dreamlike time period under unleashing energies, a new born unique form of music, culture, attitude, spirituality and freedom. This embossing founded the source of his consistent dedication to underground electronic music, which must suspend space and time.                    

In the 90s/ 00s maniac&me organized several raves in the Rhine-Main region, led a party series in an underground location in Darmstadt and had numerous engagements in bars and smaller clubs in the region.

Not unusual to disappear from radar, he left party scene in the 10s nearly completey to  enjoy infinite hours in intimitate exchange with music pure 1:1 - a form of spiritual retreat: The only few occasions maniac&me physically shared his music creations with other human beings were lovingly spurred on from his new found e-significant other and best friend Hessian DJ Kire, with whom he formed 2013 the b2b project  as “Nachtflug Widerstand”.                     
Eventually his move to Berlin in 2017, back then the new German e-sound capital already for nearly two decades, created new appetite for performingat events: The inclusive and diverse, often hedonistic multi cultural music scene with it's uncountable locations linked to maniac&me's 90ies experiences, and it didn't took long to find like-minded spirits such as Sciarada, Solco Privato or Mutlu San to share musical intelligence and visions: Since 2023 maniac&me is a permanent member of “Duma, The Collective” and organizes and plays in the Berlin locations SchwuZ, Orangerie Neukölln and Renate. Since 2024, he executes his monthly event series "U10247" in Minimal Bar in Friedrichshain for D.T.C., featuring various guest djs mainly from Berlin, sometimes also from other origins.            

maniac&me is vinyl-only, powerful house tunes, minimal surreality, light neotrance, industrial progressive, but characteristically is his sets shooting wicked, twisted, edgy technoid styled house which transform to straight-into-the-face progressive techno, aiming to experience lovingly release of all present ravers through collective freak power activation, according to the adapted motto of his e-godfather Sven Väth: "No dancing, no paradise.”
