Interesting question. I actually composed the main theme on a Yamaha upright piano during a party at my brother Kees's place and recorded it on my phone to arrange later in Renoise. I'd have to load it up again to find out what VST-i plugins or live sampled I used...

Somehow i managed to miss this tune. But im glad soundcloud suggested it to me. :) This is the JT i love !

Break-Ups are bullshit when there's love involved.

A Remix of an Atari YM2149F Chiptune by !Cube.

I kept the remix close to the original melody and chord progression, because that's what the song is about.

For anyone interested in the production side of the song:

Produced and mixed 100% in Propellerhead aka ReasonStudio Reason.
Main SID/synth lead and bass lines are created with the Thor synthesizer.

Toni aka !Cube kindly provided me with the original and unzipped SND file so I could load it into the STEEM emulated instance of the MaxYMiser tracker.

From there, I meticulously transferred note for note into the Reason sequencer.
The challenge was to get the portamento/legato and vibrato right in the lead melody.

I always felt that the Tel Me More project should have it's own theme, separate from the remakes, to honor my backers (contributors)... When I came up with the name "Tel Me More" I meant showing more of me, uncensored, pure and free. This is still a work in progress as it's formally called. I hope you guys and galls appreciate what I'm trying to achieve with my music for you... and also that this track shows some insight into my raw spirit.

It's also an ode to my "tracker friends" from all the way back!
