Made this track initially as a goodbye to music. As the things I did, the scene & the crowd did just destroyed my passion. All traxx without soul which sounded like they came from 1 person. Same goes for DJ sets. 

No experimentation just playing it safe. Also caught myself doing so sadly... Later on I made a new start and I got better at it. This got on vinyl even later on too...

From the opening in December 1989, Janssen was a regular DJ in the Parkzicht disco in Rotterdam. There he worked a lot with Paul Elstak in the 90s and on his label he released a first single together with MC Joe (Ludie Smitshoek), The Beat Is Flown. In December 1991 he co-organized one of the first major hardcore parties, De Houseparty Ahoy in the Maashal of Ahoy. He plays at many parties and organized with Paul Elstak, among other things, A Nightmare at the Park in Parkzicht and A Nightmare in Rotterdam in the Energiehal. In 1994 he left Parkzicht to shoot independently at home and abroad.

With George Ruseler he started the hardcore project Rotterdam Terror Corps, which also consisted of MC Raw, Petrov, DJ Distortion and The Reanimator (Patrick Moerland). Playing anti-Amsterdam records, he was part of the growing rivalry in the 90s between Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the hardcore scene mixed with football hooligans. DJ Rob is on many compilation albums and made many remixes for others. In 2000 the book The Gabber Story: The Story of DJ Paul and DJ Rob by Paul van Gageldonk about Rob and Paul Elstak was published. In 2001 he became a permanent DJ in Club X in Tilburg. He is producer with Brad Grobler of the German duo Dance Nation (the name Double Nation was used in some countries), which entered the charts several times.

These keywords best describe Manic's style of music for both his productions and on stage performances. By continuously crossing borders and exploring different sound design techniques, his style is in perpetual evolution, while maintaining the recognizable atmosphere.

Maarten Prinsen, born in 1989 and raised in the outback of Winterswijk (NL), started making music at the age of 11 by mastering the keyboard. This eventually led to producing electronic dance music in various harder styles of techno. Since 2006 he started performing at raves. After a few years he got contracted by Cenobite Records. Two of his tracks where released on the Machines in Motion 2 compilation album in 2009 and two years later his first full CD album "Human Demise" got released. That's where his musical journey started...

Since then Manic made several tracks, of which the official Machines In Motion 3 Anthem and a couple of collabs with international artist. In 2015 he released the collaboration album "Equilibrium" with Slovak artist Csabi, which really merged the styles of the two artist nicely together, resulting into a completely unique sound. Different than any other Cenobite releases so far, but still with that signature trancecore/psycore sound.
