CLR welcomes back DEAS for the ‘Maniac’ EP. DEAS returns to Chris Liebing’s label for the fifth time this November.

Poland’s DEAS kicks off his ‘Maniac’ two-tracker on CLR with title track ‘Maniac’, featuring deep, sub-heavy rhythms accompanied by techno stabs that dart playfully over its groove. Leaving the cover of the smoke machines then comes ‘Bunker’, another monstrous warehouse track with a front-loaded low-end shot-through with hefty synth hits.

Planet Rhythm, Arts, and ara artist DEAS has long been a staple on CLR, first appearing on the label in 2021 with the ‘Command’ EP. He’s since dropped three more releases on Chris Liebing’s imprint, the latest being his 2023 ‘Fear’ EP, which won support from the likes of Dave Clarke, Dubfire, Bloody Mary, Amanda Mussi & many more.

Founded by influential techno lynchpin Chris Liebing in 1999 and reemerging in 2021 after a five-year hiatus, Create Learn Repeat (CLR) has hosted a range of artists like Shlomi Aber, Drumcell, Truncate and more while also focussing on developing newer acts in the scene such as B. Björn Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ EP kickstarts CLR’s 2025 with three pounding Techno tracks 31st January 2025. From the razor-sharp percussion and raw bassline power in title track ‘Binary Fate’, to the cavernous dub hits and shadowy atmospheres of ‘Fear of the Unknown’, before closing on the mind-warping signals of ‘Lost in Transmission’ - Torwellen’s ‘Binary Fate’ is yet another supersized debut on the seminal CLR.

Following Björn Torwellen’s appearance on the CLR podcast in June 2024, the Cologne-based artist now definitively joins Chris Liebing’s label with the ‘Binary Fate’ three-tracker this January. With a career spanning over two decades, Björn is known for his discography on labels like De-Konstrukt, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, nonlinear systems, and now CLR.

Shlomi Aber returns to Chris Liebing's CLR. The ‘Limelight’ EP follows up two hugely successful releases on the label and also features a broken Techno mix from Aber.

Shlomi Aber drops his latest ‘Limelight’ EP on CLR this February. He kicks things off with title track,‘Limelight’, a boomy kick drum setting the pace while fizzing synths light up the airwaves, spoken words bringing a sci-fi feel to this strobe-lit classic. Aber then drops a broken mix of ‘Limelight’, scuffing the kicks and bringing a raw funk feel already picked up by the likes of Radio Slave, Josh Wink, Dave Clarke, Alienata, and more. Phyr Records is the new label from Italy's Pyramidal Decode that has featured top artists like Takaaki Itoh, Dimi Angélis, PWCCA, and Oliver Rosemann, since launching in 2024.
