The 34 track collection spans only a tiny corner of the label’s massive 100 album catalog, but still offers a healthy slice of the varied styles and artists that have collaborated with Gravitas over the years. New challenges will undoubted await the team in the years to come, but if the past is any indication, Gravitas Recordings will meet every obstacle with creativity and dedication for the foreseeable future.

This is the 2nd single off the upcoming 2018 EP titled “Shot Down”. The song is a ridiculously fun track that takes you back to funkier times. “We're excited to release something that we feel is representative of our unique sound. We have a commitment to put out material that continues to explore our musical tastes.  I think we're finally starting to realize exactly what we are and what our sound and aesthetic are. We made a conscious decision early on to not force anything like that and let it happen naturally. I think our fans expect us to be original and push boundaries, so we have to keep pushing."

This is a remix of the Lettuce track "The Love You Left Behind" from the Mt. Crushmore album. 

“Lettuce has always been one of our favorite bands to listen to. The opportunity to work with their stems and remix this song has been so fun and so interesting to see a little bit of their production process. The first half of the remix adds a classical style melody over the main chorus and changes the song to a darker feel. Thus, setting up the second half as a journey through a psychedelic desert of the ghosts of love you left behind. This remix has been in the works since July 2018 and it's a huge relief to finally be releasing this to all of you.
