An audio paper on ethnographic encounters with ghosts, through sound.
The two original recordings included in the "paper" were made in the context of Sounding Paths residency in Ano Syros, July 2019, on locations that are considered to be haunted. They are also included in the 3-track digital EP titled "Innocents" (to be found in the same profile).
The ultimate goal of the piece is to propose the deployment of the audio-paper format as a means for converging aesthetics and knowledge-production in unison.
The piece was written and mixed in the context of Writing for the Radio workshop, Helsinki, February 2023, organized by the University of Eastern Finland, within B-Air: Art Infinity Radio cultural cooperation program, co-funded by the Creative Europe project of the European Union.

Esprits Concrete - Haunted Soundscapes

David Toop opened the 1st edition of Terraforma Exo. He started with a talk titled Resonance, Ecologies and Ways of Listening which was an intimate moment to reflect on how living things connect and affect each other.

The talk was supported by SHAPE+, a platform for innovative and interdisciplinary art co-funded by the European Union.
