MANIK presents his brand new Radio Show entitled "Welcome To My Crate." In other words, welcome to my house.

Alongside house music legends Doc Martin, Fred Everything, and Seven Davis Jr, this show will be aired on a monthly block entitled "Underground Sounds of America." Welcome To My Crate is the 2nd week of every month- airing Friday at 3pm LA/6pm NY with a re run on Saturday.

"The concept is simple: Once a month I hit you with a 60 minute mixtape of selections from my crates. Anything I've bought on Vinyl over the years, says MANIK."  'Welcome To My Crate' isn't your typical DJ Mix show either. The show will also be inviting special guests on each month, in a special short story/perspective segment called "Six Minute Stories." The special segment details our Dance Music Culture through the stories and experiences of the guests! It will touch on the history of our underground music, past, present and into the future.

Expect everything from real underground Deep House, early to mid 90s House, late 80s Kiss FM Mastermix classics, and Paradise Garage vibes, all the way to Acid House, Chicago House classic, and Detroit Techno!! Whatever MANIK has on vinyl is getting played- even some special shows dedicated to classic hip hop and funk/soul in the collection.

Episode 001- "In this months '6 Minute Stories' segment, we speak to my good friend- Jon Martin. Most of my NYC family know him personally, but if you haven't met this wonderful human being, he is pretty much a wealth of knowledge/stories about our beloved dance music world- with a doctorate in NYC Nightlife! It's my pleasure to bring him on as the first guest in this segment. We briefly spoke about the roots behind the changes in underground NYC nightlife over the course of the 90s, and why it really changed so drastically."

Chris Manik fired onto the electronic music scene in 2011 with releases on Ovum, Poker Flat, and Culprit. The Queens native is the quintessential New York City DJ; a connoisseur of dance music with an inimitable style that crosses multiple genres. A seasoned crate digger, he spends hours in record shops to find those forgotten records and hidden gems. Now residing in sunny Southern California, Chris is also a taste-maker and educator. In 2020, he started releasing dance music cuts under a brand new artist name: "Chris D106."
