BODYLEPSIS is a compilation album in response to austerity, tories and anti-rave bills. It is Rave as-Protest, a visceral expression of disdain for the current political climate, outrage through noise, a poetic communal uproar; a strong artistic recording of our current cultural landscape. It demands a hijack of spaces and ourselves to recentre the people at the heart of hardcore. It's an outline of our ethos: anti-corporation and anti-copshavinglimbs.

This release figures rave as ritual, as a form of protest; losing yourself in the rave is the dissolution of the body as encumbrance, world, and prison that protest aims to produce, a rave is a riot. The rave is inexorably a reaction to material conditions, contemporary politics of space, expression, atomic collision of subversive noise pollution and the sanitised, enforced sonic landscape of the capitalist metropolis, a space figuring the dancefloor as a space, of not an escape from; but confrontation with, suffering, in pursuit of not some abstract catharsis but material change, a soundclash against suffering.

AUX1 es una plataforma de artistas y sello digital con base en Barcelona. Ecléctico y de amplio espectro, se orienta principalmente a los sonidos del club latino y deconstruido y a las sonoridades procedentes de las diásporas. Su propuesta busca, desde una perspectiva transdisciplinaria, amplificar voces y miradas de artistas queer y migrantes procedentes en su mayoría del sur global, con una preferencia FLINTA.

La Llave es el nombre del primer VA de AUX1. El compilado reúne 19 tracks de géneros que ponen a dialogar sonidos del club de todos los tiempos (techno, hardcore, breakbeat, electro), con lo latino tanto urbano como folclórico; patrones rítmicos que se salen de la estructura 4/4, percusiones acústicas, diseño sonoro experimental y samples abyectos son algunos de los recursos que se repiten para formar una colección que encuentra la autenticidad a través de la ruptura y la hibridación.

La Llave integra 25 artistas y productores de Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, México, Perú, Uganda, US y Venezuela, y pasa por la guaracha, el aleteo, el dembow, el baile funk y la bachata entre muchos otrxs.
