'Harmona' is the first single from Ichisan’s fourth studio album.

It comes with two remixes by Dan Tyler of Idjut Boys and a brand new video created by illustrator Meta Wraber and director Anna Boberg, who has worked with the likes of The Chemical Brothers.

By now, Ichisan is a well-known talent in the world of disco house. The Slovenian is a skilled guitarist and brings his musicality to bear in all his tunes. He counts the likes of Prins Thomas and Pete Herbert as fans and has released numerous EPs and LPs on labels like Nang, Bordello A Parigi and Eskimo.

The fantastic 'Harmona' is a Balearic disco jam with a filtered Moog-style melody, a funky synth bassline and lush flanger-strings. It overflows with colour and charm and is the sort of dance floor dynamite that always takes things to the next level. Remixer Dan Tyler of Idjut Boys is well known for cooking up left of centre and dubbed out house with plenty of disco influences. Firstly, he adds his wonky tape delay and signature flange over the main theme to take it in a new direction. He also offers an Acid Casualty mix that is more gnarly and perfect for darker dance floors.
The accompanying video sees the watercolour paintings of Meta Wraber brought to life by Anna Boberg. Meta is Ichisan’s partner, and a successful illustrator. Anna is a wizard with after-effects and a notable animator - a dream team for this blissful track!

He has always stayed one step ahead by doing exactly what he wants, regardless of opinion, as an army of one, a cult leader for a last generation of pirates. 

Harvey's critically acclaimed 'Locussolus' project is finally receiving its long-awaited reissue for the digital generation, in its expanded entirety, as the debut release on Harvey’s new imprint HGS. The self-titled album saw Harvey's imagination run wild — from the big room stormer named after the club 'Berghain', the twisted psychedelic minimalism of 'Gunship' and 'Little Boots', to the "Fleetwood Mac on Quaaludes" trip of 'Tan Sedan', the Electro-Funk of 'I Want It' and 'Next To You' which features guest vocals by Heidi Lawden. On its initial limited release, Locussolus saw support from disparate sources such as Andrew Weatherall, Carl Cox, James Holden, Lovefingers, Francois K, Tim Sweeney, Trevor Jackson, Rob Da Bank and Ivan Smaggahe. David Mancuso even proclaimed 'Next to You' a “Loft classic” and it was included on many of that year’s DJ and Record Store "best of" lists.

Included alongside the album’s original full track listing are the complete remixes, dubs and instrumental versions, many available for the first time. To coincide with the reissue, Beatport is also hosting a remix competition from which the winner’s track will be included on a forthcoming remix package alongside new remixes from London’s Kiwi and LA’s Lovefingers, Bears In Space and Warehouse Preservations Society.

“Waxing” is a new edits series from MANI/PEDI, releasing their favorite edits from various producers they think are sailing into uncharted territory. 

Kicking it off with Daniel T's "MysticThought", a rework of a song known for its classic break, its an homage to an old DJ Harvey edit. The Silver Rider's "The Way" is an uptempo, disco nugget mined from the depths of a dusty LP, that’s been spliced and diced to resemble something more akin to it's current, peak time flavor versus the original’s slow burning nature. 

Elvin Tibideaux’s "Don’t Stop" "was the incredible bass work and rhythmic embellishment that helped explore the idea of letting the strong rhythmic ideas seemingly become obscured and fall apart." JP Source finishes out the 12" with a another serving of left-field disco groove, and some rather adventurous layers that are nothing short of infectious.

Casino Times continue on their crusade into the speakers of Earth's hottest dancing spots with the fourth edition of the Casino Edits series.

For the A-Side, the duo encapsulate the energy that has made the previous records in the series so memorable; this time by taking the cosmic sounds of a Space Disco favourite and reconstructing it into a punchy, euphoric, electronic symphony.

The B-Side sees the BPM's drop and the concepts become more left-of-centre. The B1, a cut-up UK Grunge head nodder, features gritty guitars, a sludgy bassline and a pulsating synth lead. Whilst on the B2, a well-loved Italo essential is reincarnated as a dramatic piece of sequenced bliss.
