"Bhule jawa he shudur sMriti" - A Modern Bengali Song written and put to tune by Dilip Kumar Ray. The Maestro must have made rhe song in 1930s. I don't know if this song, recorded in his voice, exists on the market. Dilip Kumar Ray's son have me a recording of this song in 1996 to pick it up from the recording so I could perform it on the Dilip Kumar Ray Birth Centenary Celebration. Sri Dipankar Acharya is on the tabla. This recording was made on that evening at Kalamandir, Calcutta, and I remastered it on iZotope Ozone 6 the day before yesterday. As opposed to most of Dilip KUmar Ray's songs, this one is a Modern Bengali Song with no mentionable element of devotion in it.
