FiveP is the aka behind Marco Cinquepalmi a techno & deep-house influenced italian DJ and producer. He’s the main responsible of ’Underwater’, Manitox’ next release. An EP composed of two original tracks plus an awesome remix from well-known producer Betoko. 

The Bari based producer is a fast rising artist with great releases in labels like BeatFreak Recordings or 3000 Grad Records. Now he joins Manitox which is for sure a winning bet for German Brigante and his team confirmed on this powerful release.

First of all ‘Sinergy’ opens in a brilliant way this new Manitox reference. A catchy melody since the first beat guides the listener into a 6 minute pleasant journey. This melody is combined amazingly with another synths making a great call-response.

As second track, and giving its name to the EP we find ‘Underwater’. A melodic techno influenced track in the way of FiveP’s latest productions. With this beautiful composition, the italian creates  great moments of mystery during the breakdown which are brilliantly resolved with a powerful ascending arpeggio that gives energy to the track.  

Finally, Betoko’s remix can be the icing on the cake of this stunning EP. The mexican born producer is the responsible of taking Underwater into a more danceable ground adding an extra rolling percussive synth. Over the past years Betoko has made his mark on several labels like Suara, Get Physical, Exploited or on his own OKO Recordings and now he joins Manitox with this  great remix.

Manitox releases for their next EP an split that marks the debut on the label of two talented producers: Stanley Kubrix and Daniel Lera. They offer us four heavyweights that are smashing German Brigante’s sets all over the world. 

Stanley Kubrix is an american newcomer whit an easily recognized style based on fat beats, heavy baselines and hip-hop vocals , now its time to spread all of this sound on Manitox. Next one on the duties is the spanish DJ and producer Daniel Lera. 

The split kicks off with ‘All Of The Business’ one of the two tracks that are signed by Stanley Kubrix. This one is a raw track with key elements such as the big and well placed bassline and offbeat wide hi hats. Next up, ‘Do Work’ continues the techy style of the previous one with the fat bass and straight beats. He also adds a rising LFO on the breakdown that brings some madness before the drop. 

Changing the artist but maintaining the vibes, appears Daniel Lera with ‘Bring It Back’, a composition based on a catchy lead that appears since the beginning seasoned with a low male vocal. Last but not least, 'Night Crawler' closes the EP brilliantly with its rumbling synth melody that offers a kind of tribal feeling.

After the success of our last ‘Metropolis EP’ signed by label-boss German Brigante, and continuing with high flying beats, we are pleased to introduce you our 23rd reference. It’s time to welcome back Brooklyn based Pattern Drama who brings us a pair of brilliant original cuts plus two outstanding remixes to make this ‘Lowdown EP’ a must.

First up, tittle cut ‘Lowdown’ is a trip through tribal percussive elements and delicate pads that converse with classy piano chords. All of this elements are commanded by a very emotive guitar that brings an intense ‘flamenco’ feeling to the composition. Next up, ‘We Are One’ it’s a collab between Pattern Drama and Jon Lee that they teamed up again on production duties. This is an strong song since the very first beats due to the industrial background and the spoken vocal from Louis Hale. Using this great male vocal as main ingredient, the german producer Holger Zilsker under his Smash TV moniker adds an acid touch to ‘We Are One’ that goes extremely well with the 909 cymbal ride after the breakdown. Last but not least the second remix is signed by Bedrock Records artist Jamie Stevens. He offers his particular vision of ‘Lowdown’ in a techno key with a shorter lead that hits on beat maintaining an intense vibe across the track.
