"Cleaning Out My Closet" by the one and only Slim Shady was an emotional performance, despite its raw and dark vocals. The mix was a risk, considering Eminem's campaign against all things techno and pop in 2002.

The last thing I wanted was for Eminem to hunt me down as second to Moby on his shit list, but I couldn't resist putting a different spin on the record. The production remains dark in tone, draws inspiration from chiptune music and classic orchestra.
