This song is titled the last ballad of Mardana - and is about leaving a beautiful life, to death we must all part, even those who have lived a beautiful blissfull life. I had tried to imagine How Mardana must of felt knowing he is going to depart this life, and here he plays his last ballad to Guru Nanak, knowing he departs with this last song, forever.

Enlightenment rendition of Raag Rageshree
There is an old famous tale where Satguru Nanak Dev ji Met a cannibal on his travels in India. Mardana, Satguru Nanak Dev ji's friend, got kidnapped whilst looking for food in the foothills of Assam, by Koda Rakshas the cannibal. Koda usually kidnapped his victims, taking them to his abode where he woulld have a big coldron and would basically FRY his victims. Mardana was helplessly tied down and was about to be butchered by Koda, at that moment Satguru Nanak Dev Ji appeared. Just by Looking at him Koda felt this presence he had never felt before. He reached enlightenment and realised God is within everyone and everything. This precise moment he felt complete and utter oneness.
Demons and Gods, its all one people. Just be happy and give everyone love man! Lets Forget hatred and Jealousy, the change of the world starts within.
For this track i tried to imagine what Koda Rakshas would of felt on seeing the beautiful face of Nanak. Just emancipated in pure love.

The dance of death. I was inspired to make this track upon reading the Sri Dasam Granth. There is no poet like Guru Gobind Singh, his poetry illuminates the mind and heart with utmost beauty.

ਖਗ ਖੰਡ ਬਿਹੰਡੰ ਖਲ ਦਲ ਖੰਡੰ ਅਤਿ ਰਣ ਮੰਡੰ ਬਰ ਬੰਡੰ ॥
खग खंड बिहंडं खल दल खंडं अति रण मंडं बर बंडं ॥
The sword chops well, chops the forces of fools and this mighty one bedecks and glorifies the battlefield.

ਭੁਜ ਦੰਡ ਅਖੰਡੰ ਤੇਜ ਪ੍ਰਚੰਡੰ ਜੋਤਿ ਅਮੰਡੰ ਭਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਭੰ ॥
भुज दंड अखंडं तेज प्रचंडं जोति अमंडं भान प्रभं ॥
It is the unbreakable staff of the arm, it has the powerful luster and its light even bedims the radiance of the sum.

ਸੁਖ ਸੰਤਾ ਕਰਣੰ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਦਰਣੰ ਕਿਲਬਿਖ ਹਰਣੰ ਅਸਿ ਸਰਣੰ ॥
सुख संता करणं दुरमति दरणं किलबिख हरणं असि सरणं ॥
It brings happiness to the saints, mashing the vicious ones, it is the destroyer of sins and I and under its refuge.

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਜਗ ਕਾਰਣ ਸ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਉਬਾਰਣ ਮਮ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰਣ ਜੈ ਤੇਗੰ ॥੨॥
जै जै जग कारण स्रिसटि उबारण मम प्रतिपारण जै तेगं ॥२॥
Hail, hail to the cause of the world, saviour of the universe, it is my preserver, I hail its victory. 2.
