The references of the Little Simz’s edit including samples of Kendrick Lamar Fela Kuti and Tyler the Creator. The match between Cleo Sol and Erykah Badu in two songs that were recorded years apart. The “Ostavi Trag” reference in the Solange edit.''

''All of these things are why I love making edits. I feel a record is never “finished”. Where the vision of the original artist for a record ends, it creates a start for a producer like me who hears something new. Not better or worse, just new with the intent to add something extra to this beautiful world of music.''

''When I finished making the edits I wanted to showcase that I brought all of these women who make their own style of music into one project. In a place which is a safe space to me. A reflection of my home and all the things I hold dear in music.''
