Halle’s dynamic duo, Monkey Safari return to their beloved Hommage imprint after being away from the label for more then a year. With their beautifully crafted “Cranes” release they will surely make up for their long absence in a big way. Even looking at the names of the remixers in charge will leave every music lover very excited.

“Cranes” takes it’s time before introducing the bass drum, a bit more then two minutes to be exact. Monkey Safari get you in the mood with laid back, morphing spheric sounds and teasing percussion. The heavenly, slightly pitched down vocal will trigger a whole array of emotions before the journey even begins. Acoustic sounds combined with sleek piano chords and well placed break downs will make “Cranes” stay in your favorites list for months to come.

Everybody’s darling Kölsch is presenting the first remix. Kölsch is changing up the low frequencies as he adds layers of synthesizer progressions and a heavier bass drum. Sharp percussion and saw tooth sounds are drilling themselves through over ten minutes of musical bliss, but always leave enough space for the vocal to breath. 

Wolf + Lamb are closing out the release with their funk injected version. The lively acoustic drum programming breathes a different life into the track and takes it to a whole nother level. They provide “Cranes” with an overall more uplifting feel.

Swiftly following on from the killer Grass is Greener release on his own Ladies and Gentlemen label, Phonique returns with a dope remix package featuring today's debut transmission from Larse.

Teaming up with Swedish singer / songwriter Antonia Vai, Michael Vater produced a one of the tracks of the year with the original, and here four perfectly curated remixes add new dimensions to the song. Production dream team Florian Kruse and Nils Nürnberg drop the Kruse & Nürnberg remix that kicks off this release - a tough and funky rework primed for deep-leaning dancefloors.

Label regular Bruno Be provides one his signature high quality remixes - honing in on tight drums and subby, housey bass for the vocals to soar above. Dortmund native Larse (Lars Brodherr) provides the remaining two versions, drawing on his well-proven skills to turn in a pair of infectious, groove laden cuts that will slay dancefloors and rock headphones for months to come.

Returning to Sudbeat after his amazing debut last year is Memory with a dynamite two-tracker remixed by Kevin Di Serna. 

Argentinian-born Matias Gonzalez aka Memory began his musical journey in balmy Buenos Aires before moving to Italy several years ago. His dance floor-focused grooves and ear for melody have found favour with a growing list of music lovers and high profile fans including Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and other members of the progressive posse. Given the high quality of his sound, it won’t be long before Memory is on everybody’s lips. 

After something of a hiatus, the opening track, ‘Surrender’ continues from where the Dysnomia EP left off: glacial melodies and warm summery grooves greet us with joyful self awareness. Subtly tribal in nature the gallop of the percussion sections drive the track forward with consummate ease, never in a rush, never at a loss. 

The second original, ‘Hygee’ intensifies the energy with a deep, growling low-end fury. Darkly satisfying, Bladerunner-esque sweeps keep things mysterious as the groove grows with layers of percussive menace, leading to a glorious payoff of epic proportions. On remix duties, self-confessed superfan, Kevin Di Serna  gives ‘Surrender’ a dirtier, bass-led rerub with devastating results.
