It’s only natural for Jakarta, Indonesia-based singer-songwriter, Dennis Ferdinand to expand his unexplored ideas to a new creative outlet called Manny Rune. Inspired by 60’s-80’s pop music acts such as The Beach Boys, The Carpenters, Stephen Bishop & Hall & Oates combined with some modern influences like Mayer Hawthorne & Men I Trust, Dennis was determined to fulfill some artistic desires that were overlooked in his previous bands. As the leader – and the only permanent member – of Manny Rune, Dennis has been able to prove that he’s able to write something that can be enjoyed in the dark of the night through the light of the day.
