Northern Ireland's Hammer and fast rising Zambian-Scottish talent KILIMANJARO team up for the first time on a brand new EP on Hammer’s Remmah label, backed by a pair of remixes from Australia's own Tornado Wallace.

After only one 2022 studio session, the pair quickly found Hamilton's Italo-driven house sound to be a perfect compliment to the Glasgow-raised & London-based La Cheetah resident's blend of Afro & Amapiano-inspired melody-driven rhythms.

KILIMANJARO's vocals provide the hand-in-the-air hooks that make the EP's original tracks the insistent dancefloor heaters that are already set favourites for the tightly-nit crew of DJs who have had the track early on. For the remixes, Lewie Day aka Tornado Wallace brings a breaks-based, densely layered sound that brings to mind the irresistible early work of The Chemical Brothers.

"Josh and I first met in Dundee years ago - as soon as he moved down to London we got the studio session going and hit it off immediately. We quickly found an easy working dynamic with Josh's real natural flow on the 808 - when Josh jumped on the mic we knew we had something we both loved, making a couple of bangers on the first day" - Rory Hamilton aka Hammer.

'Reise Ins Glück' (engl.: journey into happiness) was the second EP from Pitchwork in 1996 by three young students from Freiburg (im Breisgau). At the time it also marked one of the very first record Alex (Sevensol) ever purchased and since then always finds it´s way back into his record bag.  Three of the original tunes plus one unreleased track ('Rückreise') are now available again on vinyl. Fitting for the dancefloors of the 1990's just as much as it still is today.

This record mirrors the personal dance music ethos for Long Vehicle, blurring fine lines between driving tech-house, slightly progressive acid and dubby garage music. Yes sure, let's go to bed grandpa.
