This Forestdelic episode presents THELIOS  with his "A Psytrance Odyssey" live set. Thelios is a project of the new era of psytrance artists. In searching for a new hybrid sound and going thru fields of different productions, he wants to immerse ravers into a parallel and funky universe by changing rhythm and mixing genres. His music can be described as energetic with a nice driving groove, bouncy basslines, glitchy effects, tight drums, and sharp leads, also constantly seeking new sounds, trying to improve his music and bring you happiness.

Ogi (Yudhisthira) and Darko (Kala) have joined their powers in creating AntHill, a kicking new project of non-compromising night time psychedelic trance, exploring full power blasting dance music fuelled by their individual experience and production skills.
Ant Society features three lively and vibrant tracks full of murmuring synths and flickering soundbursts that are not recommended for anyone wishing to stay peacefully calm and composed. Complex and twisted like an anthill maze, they are perfectly structured and organized like the society of the ants and will definitely make you shifting your mind in micro-macro planes. If you feel the rumbling beneath your feet, jump into the anthill and set yourself on an electric trip to find out how deep the undergrounds go!

Module Virus aka Bruno Miguel Oliveira Isidro was born in Portugal, and at the early age of 14 he started developing his passion and building his knowledge of electronic music such as techno, drum & bass, chill out, ambient, but mainly psytrance.

In 2002 Bruno started playing DJ sets around the UK and began his journey into production and performing live sets.

Since then he has been working on many projects, the most successful of which are a psy-trance project: “Module Virus” which he signed to Bom Shanka Music in 2009, and released his 1st EP “Synthetic Slingshot” in  2012, after much success of is  first EP, his 1st Album Harmonic Substances was released  in 2013, followed by his 1st album. Module Virus released his second album in 2015. Bruno has many alias which many  people don’t know about it. His Dub-Step project for example “Dirty Job”, which has 15 releases on many labels world-wide. In 2012 he decided to start a slower trance project, “Synchronicity”, concentrated around 140-142bpm, but still with ass-kicking dance-floor orientated grooves & rhythms, and brain-bending psychedelic leads and FX, which he signed to World People Productions that same year, and where he released his 1st EP “NightRambler”, and his slbum All Pirates Aboard the ship. Followed by his 2 Ep  One particular Dimension. In 2016 he joined the Sangoma Records family and released his third album Xochipili – The seven flowers.

Digital Forest 2019 in Czech Republic

Here is the set i played at Shankra to honor our great friend and labelmate Bruno, Module Virus who passed away after battling with cancer. It was a magical moment,  the second the set was over it started raining. This set contains some of his best of, collaborations, recent and unreleased work. Big thanks to Mahi from Shankra for suggesting this set in his memory, Bom Shanka music for providing me with music which was released on their label, where Bruno was a member for many years - unfortunately i couldn't load that batch in time. Big thanks to Boom Festival and Ozora - you fullfilled his lifetime dreams by giving his music the stage he dreamed of since he started making music.  Much thanks also for everyone who supported Bruno in his too short but colorful life. It made him happy to play his music to people and see them dance. Fly high gentle soul - you live on through your music. We miss you.
