Après une collaboration sublime sur leur maxi "Atuka Mhondoro 808" l'an dernier, le zimbabwéen Jacob Mafuleni accompagné de sa femme Martha Thom aux percussions et au chant, se retrouvent à nouveau avec le producteur electro-funk français, Gary Gritness. Réunis pour un format plus long, cet opus de 6 titres a été enregistré à Paris lors de la dernière Red Bull Music Academy et sera disponible sur vinyle et digital à compter du 20 juin prochain. Après « Unity », un premier extrait remarqué sorti au début de l’été, le duo Pouvoir Magique poursuit sa nouvelle ascension en dévoilant « Elevation » un EP en total adéquation avec son univers.

Issu du collectif Mawimbi et fondateur du label Musiques des Sphères, Pouvoir Magique nous offre, avec ces 4 titres, un véritable voyage où s’entremêlent rythmiques Afro-House, synthés électroniques et références visuelles fortes.

Sans véritable étiquette, la musique de Pouvoir Magique cherche avant tout à faire passer des émotions et stimuler l’imaginaire. « Elevation » se veut donc comme un message spirituel à l’intention de l’auditeur mais aussi une manière de résumer un aboutissement musical du duo.

« ELEVATION » disponible à partir du 28 septembre sur toutes les plateformes.
