Does anyone know where the vocal sample is from?

During the first lockdown in Tel Aviv, Guy Shaked – also known as Takiru – decided to take his music to other musical dimensions and explore his production abilities in different genres and tempos. The result is “Voices of July”, a colourful EP, featuring three originals and three remixes, in which every tune has its special story and mood. 

Takiru is well known for his previous releases that received support from acclaimed artists such as Moscoman, Jenia Tarsol, Chaim, and many more, and now he is proud to present his debut release on the respected Lisbon-based label Karakter. The remixes were made with love by Rina & Benji, A-Tweed (SXDNS222/FREEDL029) and Tempura The Purple Boy. 

Premiered here, A-Tweed’s version of the most romantic track of the release. In his interpretation of “Je Taime”, the Italian producer brought the love theme to his world, soaking the original into his characteristic weirdness: Distinctive percussive elements and a throbbing bassline yield the danceability, while the ethereal vocals deliver an eerie and erotic atmosphere.

Team AEON is thrilled to announce the 5th edition of the Lost Tapes series where music of family members and newbies come together in one release.
The compilation will be released in 2 parts. As a subscriber and family member, you’ll get the full VA compilation including all 13 tracks in advance, exclusively!

Part 1:
We kick off the first part with a special: Italian artist Fabrizio Mammarella (one half of Black Spuma - with Lauer), who’s also well known for his skills as a remixer, releases his first solo track „Compumemory“ on AEON.
The young gun from Italy Amarcord is a true AEON family member now. His previous contributions are followed up with a punchy weapon called, „Momentum“.
We are also happy to welcome back our mysterious producer Futuristant with a nostalgic track in style and meaning „Before I miss you“. And Omri Smader with his hypnotic Italo club track „Seger Peger“, who’s latest releases on Blue Shadow & Correspondant caught a lot of attention.
These two are followed by contributions from two debutants. Berlin’s Parla (‘Permanent Vacation’), who’s bringing the early morning/afterhour burner „A World in Purple“ and Felkon from Germany with the clubby Italo shaker „Lytis“.
Last but not least, Silicodisco returns to AEON with a collaboration with DPAZ and created the retro, melodic, dark Italo dance track „Hellish Night“. A track that characterizes the both of them and the perfect track to welcome you to the second part of the Lost Tapes Vol. 5.

Part 2:
Following up on his successfull releases on Gerd Janson’s ‘Running Back’ and his latest EP on DJ Tennis’s label ‘Life & Death’, Alan Dixon kicks off part two with „Space Manoeuvres“.
AEON newbie Alex Virgo brings the Spring vibes with the happy track „Clown Car“.
After Machinegewehr’s well received „Nutant EP“ (AEON054), the Rotterdammer returns with another trippy Italo monster „Call the shots“.
Having already done a remix for „Serpentine“ by Darlyn Vlys, Micropacer is not new to the camp anymore. And we are happy to have him on board with his first solo track „The Magic Number“ on AEON.
Musumeci doesn’t need an introduction anymore. The Italian made his way in the industry with several hit remixes and solo productions on his own imprint „Multinotes“ (with Lehar) or „Permanent Vacation“, after being one of the first remixers on AEON almost a decade ago. His collaboration with Aldebaran on „Escamotage“ will stay in your ears for a while.
Hailing from Jakarta the 4th newbie Past Futura closes this 13 tracker VA with his „Viva La Discoteque“, which we couldn’t think of a better closing title in these difficult times.

Why did the topic of conversation always seem to come back to the weather? It was a subject that got more airtime than she'd like, but generally that was the centre of all small talk these days. If it wasn't the rain, it was the wind, if not the wind, the few days of sunshine that gave us a glimmer of hope for a moment. Was it the only talking point we all had in our arsenal? Could we not find more common ground than the forecast for the coming weeks? That remained to be seen. 

Ombra International's VA series consistently brings together artists who may be miles away geographically, but sonically there's barely any distance at all. For the next instalment, which also marks the label's 21st release, they call on producers from the UK, France and Germany, namely Rees, Tony Y Not, JH.L.M, Kimshies and Endrik Schroeder. Our pick comes from the latter who joins the Ombra family off the back of releases on Zone and Ritmo Fatale with a dark, 80s-driven Italo number.

After numerous releases in the past 12 months, Tel Aviv based Eliezer (@laze_65), joins Play Pal Music (@playpalmusic), along with friends of the label, Mufti (@muftimx) Skelesys (@skelesys) and Ackerman (@ackerman_music) to deliver 'Ritmica La Noar', three guitar laden sonic meditations backed up with remixes from French duo Kimshies, who pushes the tempo and stretches the fabrics weaving together a patchwork of fear and
loathing,  Modular Project who pulls the guitar and twisted harmonics from 'Don't Be', using them to create a widescreen technicolour opiate laden take and Tyu who rebuilds 'Halalit Ushma Tshuka' into a more tribal understated and up-tempo mutant dance rework.

The tenth reference of LATIDO comes from the hand of Durand & Kadriana. Durand has a good bunch of previous releases on labels like Nein Records, Factor City, Logical Records or Esthetique to name just a few. For this new reference in LATIDO, Durand is joined by Kadriana, who is in charge of the vocal part of the tracks. 
The entire ep clearly sounds 80s. The synths, bass lines and melodies take you back to the New Wave and Synth Pop sound of the eighties. "Blood & Honey" is made up of three original tracks steeped in dark desires, mysterious daydreams and vampires conspiring on a retro-futuristic dance floor. 
Alongside the three original tracks are two fabulous remixes by bosses Fabrizio Mammarella and Undo. Both artists have been able to perfectly read the meaning of the EP, and their remixes fit perfectly with the overall sound of this release. 
With "Blood & Honey" you will sing, dance, and feel like the protagonist of a science fiction movie starring John Carpenter and Tangerine Dream.
