"the love is destructive" decia un graffiti, cerca de la oficina, y pense hay que analizar esto filosoficamente, psicologicamente, poeticamente,   

La canción presenta una tesis provocativa: "El amor destruye". El narrador comienza describiendo su vida ordenada y controlada como una "fortaleza perfecta" con "muros bien construidos".

La llegada de una persona irrumpe en esa calma, descrita metafóricamente como un "saxofón a medianoche, rompiendo el silencio".

El estribillo insiste en que el amor no es construcción, sino una "dulce demolición" que "destruye tu ego, tu norte y tu plan". Sin embargo, el puente de la canción ofrece la resolución a esta idea: la destrucción no es negativa, sino necesaria. El narrador revela que esa persona "destruiste al cínico que había en mí" y concluye que el amor "destruye solo para crear / un 'nosotros' donde el 'yo' no puede estar".

Jeona Morh, was an extremely strong and religious young man who eventually became a bandit and robbed many villages. He lived during the British Raj in Punjab. Before turning to crime he lived happily with his brother and his wife. Jeona's brother was an undercover bandit, and the only person who had knowledge of this was his dearest friend, Dogar, who later reported him to the police; as there was a hefty reward on his head. During his brother's arrest the corrupted police severely beat his brother's pregnant wife and eventually killed her. Jeona's brother was convicted and sent to "Kala Pani" Prison. Jeona Morh fled into the jungles were he met a gang of bandits and eventually became their leader and vowed to take revenge. Jeona Morh had murdered every person who had any involvement in the ill treatment of his family before finally being multiply shot to death.
