For its 11th release .defaultbox has collaborated with Berlin based artist Visum who presents us with his well crafted four track EP stretching from ambient landscapes to relentless techno grooves and including a remix by none other than the Portuguese prodigy Re:Axis. „Sol“ embarks on a dreamy space odyssey to be followed by a stellar remix pushing towards warp speed. Both „Skog“ and ’’Skugga’’ take up the pace with a blend of humming rhythms and moody atmospheres that will make your asteroids bounce for aeons.

Truth is stranger than fiction they say, 2020 has proven it. This is not the year we asked for, but it's the year we received. We present the latest vinyl 12” record release courtesy of From 0-1: Life Under Lockdown, featuring tracks by Kessell (1/2 of the legendary Spanish duo, Exium), Joton (founder of Newrhythmic Rec.), HD Substance (co-founder of Sub_tl, and teacher at the Bass Valley), and JX-216 (co-founder of From 0-1).

Blumoog Music is an Italian label ran by M.R.E.U.X. who has kept his music close to home and featured music and remixes by Dan Curtin, Pfirter, Cari Lekebusch, Edit Select and more.

Supplying the remix is staunch Stockholm artist Joel Mull whose quality productions have reached far and wide labels such as the homebase Parabel, Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and Nicole Moudaber’s MOOD for example.

For this DT:Premiere we chose his remix of “Deep Space” that combines a funky groove with morphing, metallic tones that wave and pulse with tension. A trippy and hypnotic take, it’s deep and functional sound will captivate and satisfy as it explores electronic emotion and exactness at the same time.
