Sunset Ritual Live At Scorpios Mykonos | August 17 |

Starling
D’Souza, from Goa (the party haven of India), was born in the late 80s. His induction to DJing came through trance , full on twilight at the age of just 14. He has been for nearly 9 years now and has played for some of renowned clubs and party places Around the Globe.

Together with is father, he owns one of the biggest and well known places for moonlight parties in Goa, Hilltop-Goa! Needless to say, that he is the in-house DJ for the weekly parties held at Hilltop. The icing on the cake, though, is his scintillating electromagnetic music that entertains crowds of 10,000 and more, at some of the biggest events in Goa and that being the Christmas and New Year parties. These annual events, each carry on for nearly 36-72 hours and are attended by not only party hoppers from around the world but also by well known media celebrities.

In this journey as a DJ, Starling has also played alongside international artists such as Hilight tribe, Talamasca , Psymmetrix , Ajja , Ital , Phatmatix , Dust , Koxbox, Protoculture, Lost & Found , Absolum , Tristan , Avalon , Laughing Budha , Raja ram , Lucas , GMS, Psychotic micro, Panayota, Zerox & Illumination, Freaked frequency, Z-Machine, Atomic pulse, Alien project, Arjuna , Hatibaba and many more at various venues in Dubai / Goa /Bangalore/ Pune / Kolkata/ Hyderabad/ Bombay / Chennai / Nepal. 

The focus has been to create a sonic journey with his sets. His style varies from Full-On Psychedelic to Aggressive Twilight packed with rolling, powerful bass lines and twisted sounds. Most of his influences have come from famous music makers such as Ace ventura / Liquid soul /Avalon / Laughing Budha / Xpiral /Orca/ Abomination/ Lost & Found/ Psymetrix/ Ajja/ Arjuna/ Rev/ and many more....

With his music, DJ Starling is known to bring the crowd to a mind frenzy euphoric state.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this week's editions we welcome @Valeron

Generally recognized as the top DJ on the island of Mykonos, Valeron is definitely one of the longest standing and most omnipresent figures of the ever-shifting local music scene.

Soon after relocating to Mykonos, he became a producer releasing tracks that helped register his name in the Deep House and Electronic genre. This carried him through to becoming a founder of the Bercana Music label and releasing 2 personal albums already “Amare” & ‘’Aigaio’’. Valeron’s albums introduces a unique combination of traditional Greek instruments and Electronic beats.

Every Saturday at Scorpios Mykonos Valeron leads ‘’Scorpios World’’ where he performs live alongside Greek musicians of instruments such as the clarinet, violin, Ney,Bouzouki, Saz, Oud,Santur and many more. With lots of originals and remixes that had climb on top of Beatport charts, on May 2019 he will release his third personal album.
