A re-creation of my first ecstatic dance set, played on a Sunday evening in a small hall on top of a hill overlooking Launceston, lutriwita/Tasmania. 

These dances are are such an intimate experience, with everyone showing up sober with the expressed intention to dance in their own unique way. No talking, no socializing, no phones - just music and movement.  30 beautiful bodies, 30 different stories to tell.

While I played this one largely like I would a rave, I used the 5 Rhythms model to structure the set in 5 energetic phases:

Flowing
Staccato 
Chaos 
Lyrical 
Stillness 

It's a collection of old favourites from my early days of djing along with new vibrations from around the world, all designed to make you move.
